It blows my mind the number of people who ask for bareback.  I think there is a culture for bb across the board.  The "reasons" offered for bb at work are the same as the ones given when I was 16.  I think a lack of education is a big part of it.  Is was aware of sti's before this work but had no idea about so much of the stuff I have learnt about from reai up on protection and safe sex.  That info is easily accessible, if you want it, but most people don't think about it.  I watch an awesome YouTube series by a Dr Doe, she's great. Have learnt so much.

I've noticed an increase in BB requests recently. The worry about HIV seems to be subsiding, a large part of the sexually active population already carries the herpes virus, and everything else is considered curable. Maybe not all guys know about the gonorrhea strain that doesn't respond to antibiotics? Maybe they don't care about potentially infecting their other halves? Beats me....  It's recently not just the freaky-deakies asking, but otherwise perfectly sensible men.

People's ignorance about STIs just baffles me to be honest, especially when it's people who work in the sex industry!

Not only could someone catch an STI in the time between having the STI test and getting the results but you also have to wait 6 weeks for things like HIV and hepatitis to show up in a blood test. So for 6 weeks, someone could be unintentionally spreading HIV and hepatitis to other people. That's why when I see people saying 'I'm clean, I'm clean, I go to a GUM clinic regularly' it makes me SO angry. There is NEVER a guarantee that someone is clean, especially people who offer BB or people who ask for it. I don't like to judge people who do it, but personally I think it's incredibly selfish - they could unknowingly pass on a killable STI and destroy someone's life/kill them. I usually give a little lecture to people who ask for BB but I don't get asked often thank goodness, or my blood pressure would be through the roof.

Also, it's not just HIV that is permanent. There is no cure for Hepatitis A, most people recover from hepatitis B within a few months but if you get chronic hepatitis B you will have it forever and it will eventually kill you. The treatment for hepatitis C is only 50% effective. I got this info off the NHS website so please have a read.

It is offered thats why they ask and always lecture about the risks. It has nothing to do with the obvious race it is to do with persons beliefs etc. Some don't care offering bb. I have stumbled across white offering and maybe darker although have not seen. So race plays a part then?. It is more to do with the inner self personality. Or are we going on statistics?.

If you offer different people different things on this basis, the main thing that will happen is that those who are seeing other escorts / bisexual won't tell you...

Much of wider society would see sex as being degraded by anyone offering it for cash, no matter what the sum involved is!

Competing on price alone is pointless at best, because there will always be someone cheaper.
