Last week I had some bookings with clients/punters who would never step over the mark, turn up, round up, don't push to overstay (some leave within or bang on time), brought me lovely presents because they like to do that. A content customer sent me a random out of the blue £20 gift card, another sent me something from my Amazon wishlist, that item is likely to be worn at our next booking.
I have had some pretty low quality contact, someone out there is playing me for an idiot - which is upsetting. In the last 2 weeks I have spent time, taken opportunity to have what I call a clear out. Made it clear to a few who have been disrespectful that because of the way they behave when making arrangements I am no longer able to provide a service for them. I feel much better, and they know they can either book me properly,(and politely) or not at all. I have a choice and they have a choice. Before I told them why I could not accept their booking, all of them said they enjoyed their bookings with me.
It's all in the mix and I want to stick with those who can make a sensible booking, go ahead without fuss or faff.
