I think it's worth bearing in mind that in some cultures haggling is just expected/the norm. It's not necessarily meant in an insulting way (though of course it sometimes is).
Some weeks ago a guy using translate function to contact me offered less than 2/3 of my fee, I had already told him I was fully booked /busy/not available and that I don't use text for enquiries. Having spoken briefly on the phone he told me his English wasn't good enough, had to use the text translator to communicate. He would not take no for an answer, told me how wonderful he would be, then offered me any food I wanted from the kebab shop he worked for.
He'd tried haggling the week before once again after I'd said I didn't have any availability and would only accept full price if I was. I actually told him the second time each time he asked the fee would increase by £10, but had already told him I couldn't see him. I also have plenty of food.
I definitely do not want to be in a room with him!
