You're giving too much of yourself away, Kendra. Just say, "Well, it sounds like you're unsure of the time you want. Would you like to get back to me when you can be certain?" He'll either call back when he's certain or he won't.

If he's just coming across as a dithering idiot and you don't want to see him, tell him that you need to double-check your diary and could he text you in five minutes. Then tell him you're sorry - you can't do it what a shame! Then save as "Don't Want To See."

Don't explain shit to these guys. Always make it smooth and act like nothing is an issue. Then do what you want to do, anyway.

When I get guys like that I just ask them to call back when they know a time. I make it sound like its for his sake so he doesn't have to think of a time on the spot. Yeah, probably a time waster since most guys would have a particular time in mind, but some guys just get flustered talking on the phone and need the break to compose themselves. If he calls back, great. If he calls back and I don't want to see him, I'm busy. If he doesn't, someone else will fill the spot.

Just had a guy try to arrange a booking over text. I then missed his calls when i asked him to call (he calls 40 minutes later). I then text him to call if he wants to arrange a booking. He asks about uniforms and tries to book over text again. Sorry, I'm busy. Can't follow instructions, possibly genuine, but I'm currently too tired to take that chance.

Don't let them wind you up, Hun. Our mental sanity is tested enough as it is with the idiots who slip through the net and we meet, let alone giving mental capacity to the idiots on the phone as well

Well no matter how I handled it, I know I wasn't rude so turning round and calling me a nutter then that I've to take a fuck to myself only shows me that i dodged a bullet.

He just sounded so unsure, when I offered him a time which I think was 2 and a half hours away from the current time, he was humming and hawing then said ok that should be ok. I could tell he was wanting an appointments right away which is something I don't do anyway.

Should be ok from a stranger to me is too uncertain and I haven't got time for it.

Then when I told him I couldn't take his appointment due to timewasters and his uncertainty, he started giving me abuse.

We weren't saying you were being rude, Hun. Just that it causes unnecessary stress on yourself because if you had acted differently he wouldn't have turned abbusive and he probably wouldn't have called back anyway. But, ya, know. Just opinions, we're all just trying to help one another.

I wasn't taking him personally, I wasn't offended cause I'm use to his type throwing a tantrum. I was just posting here since that's what this thread is for and also to show how quickly his attitude changed, we're talking a matter of seconds here. Can you imagine spending an hour with someone who's attitude changes so drastically like that when he doesn't get his own way? I'm just so glad that the vast majority of them show themselves up long before they even get an allocated appointment.

If you see all my other posts as of late, my attitude towards the morons has completely changed, I just ignore them but it's a bit more difficult to ignore someone who's actually on the phone to you.

Sometimes when your on the phone to someone there and then, it's difficult to think of what to say and how it may be perceived by them so I just say what I'm thinking but I was polite about it.

I'm just getting ready to go out for dinner with friends so believe me when I say, I ain't wound up or bothered about this numpty. I've had 10 million times worse. His abuse was mild.

I just hang up the phone if I can't be bothered to be honest. They all think there is a problem with the reception or something. But no, it's just me hanging up ;D The end button is your best friend. Sometimes I hang up almost instantly. e.g.

For most the conversation would probably be like.
