I got a text this morning asking for a 5 day booking offering me 50k with 25k up front... what is the point of that? It's obviously bullshit, but why??

I just had a guy try to make a booking but when I tried to give him my postcode he was adamant I should give him a landmark near my house (there really isn't anything of note) and wouldn't even take my road name because apparently he's rubbish at using the internet? He then said he would be getting a taxi so I said then just the driver the postcode, he blathered on a bit more before I called him on it and said I didn't think it was going to work.
