I have this problem. I try my absolute best to ignore idiots but there's always someone I'm going to loose my patience with. My phone is usually switched off by midnight, but I left it on last night. Someone called it three times between about 1 and 2.30am. I just ignored it. Went to bed at about 3.10, and a few minutes later he rang again.

I was so annoyed I answered - well spoken bloke, asking if I was still working. I gave him short shrift, and said 'What sort of person calls someone FOUR TIMES in the middle of the night?!' He apologised for bothering me quite sincerely...

It wouldn't perplex me so much but I'm a middle-aged woman living in the suburbs, not a party girl in the centre of a big city!

I live in a big city centre and I'm in my 20's and I like to have fun with my friends but I have a zero tolerance for anyone phoning me after midnight.

I don't answer the phone after 10pm cause I don't think anyone decent would phone me after that time but phoning me at such ungodly hours after midnight is complete ignorance and I NEVER want to meet those people so I always leave my phone on but on silent so that when I wake up in the morning, I instantly block those numbers.

I don't know who the fuck they think they are to phone a girl in the middle of the nite nevermind several times.

I don't want to speak out of turn here with this site being for all kinds of escorts but I would think you would have to be pretty desperate to be working late/through the nite dealing with drunks and idiots because NOBODY decent and sober will phone you at 4am. I couldn't think of anything worse than dealing with those sorts of people. But each to their own.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who calls a person after midnight is a complete tool. No respectful person would phone another person at those hours. It's not normal.

I wouldn't phone anyone after 10pm or before 9am on a weekday and if it was a Sunday then I wouldn't phone anyone before 12.

I guess we all work differently and have different opinions on what's acceptable behaviour or not. I just have a zero bullshit or rudeness policy and it works well for me.

Well the bits I've put in bold are the bits where I think you've missed the point - if somebody clearly advertises that they work and are happy to take calls after midnight, then anybody phoning them then is keeping to the terms offered and therefore not 'a tool'. What you're talking about is people who ignore the ads; the only time I have ever had to physically remove a punter from my flat was when one turned up drunk at two in the afternoon. The problem wasn't anything to do with the time of day, the problem was that I didn't spot he was pissed when he phoned.

As for the second part, I daresay virtually all of the posters here (including me) have an identical policy. It might not be the same as yours, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist nor that it isn't equally valid. Stone cold sober people can be unspeakably rude and vile, and drunk people (if you don't mind them) can be perfectly easygoing and pleasant. Either way we are not here to judge how others work.

I had a nightmare with someone who I'd seen 3 times last year, he booked for 8pm one time and turned up with bottle of Baileys. We drunk quite a bit of it then in the middle of a bj he fell asleep!
