During the past 5/6 weeks I've had more than my usual share of timewasting/spammy emails/texts; heres just one I received yesterday:

I am visiting from the British Virgin Island staying at a relative's in ******* where a phone call could be awkward.  However I have seen your website which I find exciting, and have time tomorrow (monday) for two hours between 1.30 and 3.30 if you do.  I am a youngish 65, and professional Chartered Accountant still working and living in the BVI.  My mobile phone is  +******* - and will receive texts. Calls to that number could be extremely awkward if not disasterous !  Responses to this email address are secure.  Early advice would be much appreciated especially if not convenient.

Since he didn't use my name I'm assuming this was spam, and the fact he couldn't possibly make a phone call marks him out as a big fat timewaster!

my excuse for being away for the afternoon was flyfishing at *******.  While I can usually fish in bad weather this wind this is more than usual, and my reason for being gone is problematic.  If there is some abatement I will call and see if we can come to a mutual arrangement.  I do understand you may have other calls on your time. Dissapointing though !

Good lord it turns out both those emails are from the same person, but as they were sent from 2 different email addresses and one had a name and the other didn't I naturally assumed they were from 2 different people.

Whats more I sent rather stern replies to both of them and he just phoned up to book! Lets just see if he confirms/shows eh....

Last night about 1am I got a phone call for an outcall booking, fairly local so I agreed. He didn't have an AW profile for personal reasons, but gave me full name, address and landline number which checked out. I was just about ready to leave and he text saying "Just checked funds online and I only have ?100.. hope this is ok?"

ERR NO?

This drives me absolutely crazy. Do they think that because we have already left the house we'll think "oh well, it's late and better than nothing!"

I agree with you NaughtyT, I wouldn't entertain that either even if I was standing in their house out of sheer disrespect. They know my rates and should have that organised before even picking up the phone.

Problem is there are LOADS of girls happy and willing to accept their offer as like you said its better than nothing so guys like this probably just try this stunt on many girls until they find someone who will accept it.

I just think if they don't like my rates or services then they can carry on looking for someone else more suitable. If they ignore all the information on my profile and assume they can get me to do what they want, they are wrong.

Always makes me feel a bit funny when someone says they don't have an account or hide their feedback, 'for personal/privacy' reasons. I don't ask for an AW booking, my screening isn't based around it but no matter whether it's true or not it just makes me feel wierd when someone says this.

Yea, I don't mind it but if I feel like I am getting chatted up I would rather not engage! After my stern email telling him he must phone if he wanted the appointment.....he phoned, turned up, perfectly polite respectful guy, just goes to show, his email was screaming TW to me....

Possibly it helped that he wanted mild domming..so liked being told what to do!

I've just had a call from client,who used to be my regular,asking If I would see his wife on her own.I refused as I don't see females.He pestered me in the past to see him and his wife as a couple,which I refused as well.
I've had some experiences with same sex and woman don't do anything for me,so I don't understand what he counts on ::)
