Well the friend that had expressed interest has decided it is too far to travel so I think.im gonna put the idea on ice for now. I have a long term tenant I can put in the flat which is probably a better option..but he is a friend so I could probably sublet the place for a week and have him stay with me. If I have any other friends who want to try it as a tour. But I'm not going to advertise. Just people I know and feel I can trust.

Yes l am Scottish. The police won’t get involved unless there are complaints from neighbours or if you end up with a lady grassing you up. In your case l don’t think either will happen. I would not say the Scottish police any different from England.

Thank you. I guess it depends on regional police forces in England too. I just heard some stories about police booking SP to see if they are working from same address and then arresting them if they are. I work mostly in England now and just live up here.

I worked in Ayr a few months ago and it was really terrible, it was completely dead, the few clients who contacted me were rude and the hotel staff was even ruder (first time I nearly got kicked out from a hotel), so would definitely not recommend, I would suggest sticking to Glasgow/Edinburgh/Aberdeen for Scotland  :)
