There is an advert  on Adultwork in the Other Services, To Let it is a scam. It is titled Housingneeds telephone 075860980**

I communicated with them on Saturday via the number displayed on their profile to arrange an apartment booking in Farnborough, the communication was all by WhatsApp. I was asked to pay a bank transfer deposit of £100 to their account  under reference Housing. I made the payment and was informed that I could have the apartment on Monday. However when I arrived they kept rejecting my calls and only replied by WhatsApp, they stated 'Hi, so property management ring me saying that my flat has been vandalised by clients quite badly now I have friend with another 2 bed flat in Farnborough I have just spoken with him and he can let you rent that.

Claiming it is Airbnb so I have to pay it for myself, I sked the address and the friends name and number and he couldn't give me this. Kept insisting to book through Airbnb and not to speak to his friend. I said this is not possible as we paid a deposit so he needs to refund us and he said not possible as banks are not open due to the bank holiday. I reminded him that it was online and he can transfer back immediately. Then he says he sent the wrong link but can get us a flat, I asked for the address and he said the centre but wouldn't give me an address. I kept asking him to call and earlier I asked where to park and he said anywhere, while parked I was told to move by a resident. The parking is strictly allocated  to apartments and I need to be in the correct space and have a permit.

I also checked the ratings and I believe them to be fake, they are all made 0n the same day on 10th March 2023 at 9.55 then 9.58 then 10.01 these look suspicious as all within minutes of each other and he only registered on the 8th March 2023. This is a scam and they are using AW to advertise a fake flat. Please don't send any money. I have emailed AW
