Flat share Leeds
« on: 07 January 2011, 06:59:43 pm »
Heyy! I'm currently working for a very popular agency in Leeds, I am a student and work part time- but will be full time from April when my course ends. I am looking to flatshare in Leeds city centre, I would like to work with another lady who's working, and am considering going independent so if somebody is up for moving in and working from the same flat I'd definitely consider that too- however I do get a lot of work at the moment and being an indie scares me abit so I would need to consider this- and need some good guidance!
Anyway, a little about me- I am 21, outgoing, I like to think I'm pretty funny!, tidy and a social smoker- but I'd never smoke in my flat! I am currently living in a studenty house with 8 boys and am dreading the day somebody finds my bag of tricks/ stash of condoms/ stripper heels/ eccessive amount of cash for a student- and starts asking questions, although boys are stupid and no-ones got a clue so far!
I am paying for extra months on my let at the moment so could move out whenever- ideally asap. I'd love to live round clarence dock in Leeds- the agency I work for has flats here and they are gorgeous- or maybe in a smart modern flat in Leeds city centre.
Hope this isn't too long winded and if anyones interested get back to me asap.

Freya, are you aware that West Yorkshire Police are extremely intolerant of brothels, and there is a serious crackdown going on at the moment? There is a bit about one recent case here - as far as I know this was a flatshare (and if this one isn't, a prosecution has certainly happened recently relating to a non-commercial premises with only two women working). If you are going to share with somebody you don't know, please choose very carefully.

You could stash all your work stuff in a case with a padlock (one with a clasp rather than a zip, for preference - zips are easily opened) and stick it on top of the wardrobe as if it's been there ages; quite often the best hiding places for things are right under people's noses  ;). As for the excessive amounts of cash, you could try putting it in the bank. There are quite a few in the city centre.

For students an excessive amount of cash is basically anything over ?20, and I was talking more about money I'd have on me after a busy day, not about storing my life savings under my bed- I'm honestly not that stupid but good display of sarcasm.
Also, I would not even consider a flat-share for working if it could lead to me getting arrested for opening a brothel- thanks for the heads up! I am more interested in seeing if there are any other working girls around Leeds who might be interested in sharing a flat who would understand my situation, and I'd really rather not live with a girl at the agency I work for at the moment, as agency girls can tend to be very competitive. I'd obviously want to meet whoever and get to know them before I made any decisions- once again, I'm honestly not THAT stupid.

You don't have to be stupid, just bloody unlucky. Since you're not the first one, hopefully you won't be the second (and to be fair, it's the agency which will cop the majority of the stick, not you). Just passing on information I'm privy to which others maybe are not, that's all - if you want horses-mouth information on exactly what the police are currently up to, I would advise contacting Genesis, your local project.

Sarcastic it may have been, but you would be astonished at how many people think that a holdall full of readies is a handy thing to have lying about the house (until they realise theres not much you can do with it beyond spend it on crap) ;D. Since I've never been a student I wouldn't have a clue - no wonder there's so many prossies!

@ Freya-x

It is a good idea to be independent and obviously you make more money, work less & will have more time for your studies.

In terms of going independent, I say get your own 2 bedroom flat and be very discreet about it don't let anyone know what you are doing etc & be careful with what you tell your punters.
Myself, I have been independent =1year. I had girls working for me but realised quickly that I could be in less trouble and make more money if I worked independently.

I see maximum 3 customers a day, and very recent I had a girl who did her incall at my place against a charge.

In terms of money-making as an escort, times have changed and it is not like it used to be before I started. Alot of girls are turning to escorting thinking that it can save them from the down-turn in this economical crisis. Fact is, it will not bcos men simply do not have the money to afford such a luxury visit to an escort.

What you have to keep in mind is that the economical situation of the nation will reflect on your earnings, so at this moment in time it is better to be independent bcos you keep all the money to yourself & you will be in less trouble with the police if anything happends.

Even as independent escort times are hard but at least I am not sharing my money!
oooohhh please!, put your money in the bank and open up a seperate bank account if you need to. Do not keep any cash at your flat.

The worse I have heard; the girl who was doing her incalls at my flat told me that she was hidding her ? in a suitcase while she was renting a room which door had no lock and the owner had the habit of bartching into her room.....? I replied 'you are not afraid?'
