Driver in Essex
« on: 18 November 2010, 03:26:32 pm »
Hi all

New to the forum, had  a browse first to get the general feel.  I have had numerous encounters with escorts and have often thought about becoming a male escort, not worth the time to think about it I reckon.  Anyway, I would like to offer my services as a driver.  If you guys can offer any advice on this issue it would be appreciated.  Firstly, I would be totally discreet, as I have a partner and children.  Basically I would like to earn more money (don't we all) secondly I would like it to be a casual working relationship where both parties are aware of discretion etc and finally, where do I advertise?  What are my chances of getting this kind of work?

Thanks in advance :-) and looking forward to chatting to you

Hi

I have just signed up to the sit today as I am looking for part time work as a driver.  I am based on Essex/Herts border and drive a reliable 5 seater car.  If anybody is looking to hire a driver please email me via the site and we can arrange to meet and discuss prices.  I will be totally 100% honest, discreet and reliable.  I have a partner and children to support and discretion is required.  I will not charge the earth to drive you around as my vehicle is very economical.  I am simply looking to earn a bit extra cash without having to work 10 hours a day!

Thank you

Welcome.

If you find time and run a search on "male escorts" then, I think you will realise that it really isn't worth the time thinking about it. Well not unless you are gay.

Regards driving, it's only ever going to earn you the same as any other job except that your chances of getting into it are very low. You will need references and recommendations from  other girls. Many guys want/think they can be a driver, so there is competition out there. You'll be expected to work unsociable  hours, for about ?10 an hour presuming there are constant bookings - which is unlikely. An indie may only do one job per evening outcall so your looking at around ?20-50 from which you need to obviously  pay for petrol, insurance etc. When I used a driver I bought him a portable DVD player, and a sat nav but that was because he was a friend helping me out.

Thanks strawberry.  I have given up on male escorting.  Stung by a scam agency and plain and simple that so many men pay for it there is no need for a woman to do so.

As for driving, I guess it is a case of how many jobs a WG will do in an evening and base it upon that.  thre, 1 hour appointments means at least four hours work for ?40.  Not great eh!

Hi Essexguy,

Please note that the Q&A section is for people to ask questions and request advice about sex work, so I have moved your posts here t0 Seeking and Offering.

As you have already found (and contrary t0 popular opinion), prostitutes are not a licence to print money and I would say that if you have a car and a clean licence/record and want to earn money for driving you're likely to have far more success ringing round your local cab firms. Apart from anything else, most ladies will want references or recommendations from others before contemplating hiring a stranger to drive them.

If you really, really want to read more about straight male escorting you can do so here.
