I have had this too, over the last 12 months ever so often his number turns up just saying "my name is phil",  I did google his number once and found a few people had labeled him as a nuisance caller on once of those sites that lists problem phone numbers.

Why don't you just block his texts - I have done that to a few irritating idiots myself....I just never get the texts from those numbers anymore ....  job done.

Oh dear - just checked our text history for 'My name is Phil' and found that we actually made a booking with this guy back in May - he kept text ping ponging before and after making the booking for a few hours time and then didn't show up so we blocked him. He asked us about what BDSM stuff we had, whether we were OK with crossdressers and a load of other stuff - and if he hadn't text for a day or so he'd start the day with a 'Hixx'

EDIT: Just checked our phone's blocked text log and there are two from him on the 21st Jan saying (guess what) "Hi my name is philx"

Because I can't honestly see the point of a wanring about somebody who does nothing bar send stupid, non-threatening texts that we can either block or ignore, particularly when HNTBAE is chockablock with virtually identical stuff? Plus if it's going to carry on as chit chat, it means I don't have to do anything bar skim it.

Over the past 3 days i have received exactly 65 messages from this guy!!!  :FF He starts off with just " Hi my name is Phil" . As this isn't enough to warrant a reply from me, he starts sending abusive texts, one worse than the other, then starts threatening. I have no idea where this nutcase is from, but if you do a Google search, whophonedme.com has a few WG that he also did the same.
