Young clients
« on: 02 May 2015, 05:24:31 pm »
I had a client today who looked about 15 or 16. I had to ask him how old he was and he told me he was 18. Honestly I didn't believe him so asked if he had any ID which he said he didn't so I asked him to leave. What do you do if you have a client you thought looked younger than 18?

The same as you did. And even if he had ID saying he was 18 I would probably say that was too young. I don't feel comfortable with under 21, personally, and even then they have to be poised and mature for their age.

If a person communicates well I'm happy to see them, however if they tell me they are 18 I would ask for ID. I have had clients turn up reveal they are 18 afterwards, but have looked and behaved much older.

I like to see users with feedback so I doubt someone that age would get through my screening. If they did it would be the same as Mirror. They would have to behave much more mature and communicate well.

I would do exactly what you did - ask for ID and if he didn't have any show him the door.

The same, exactly what you did.  I'm not keen on the young ones, but I will see them as long as they can prove they are 18 if I have any doubts.

I once had a guy who was 16, he offered me double the hourly rate to see him anyway, but I just politely explained it's a legal issue and outwith my control, then showed him the door.

I thought it was legal to buy sex from 16? It's a stupid double standard though, I know. I might be wrong. I'm 18 myself but also not sure that I'd be comfortable with someone as young - the youngest I've had was 19 but he initially said he was 22. I wasn't really bothered to be honest as he was clean and polite. I do have one guy that regularly calls me up that I swear to god sounds about 13. I think it's some kind of one-man prank call or maybe out of curiosity by some kid that spends too much time on the internet. Anyone that emails me that says they're around 23 or younger immediately heightens my suspicion, but I give them the same screening and none of them bar that one 19 year old have gotten through. I also find a correlation with younger guys and guys who themselves have service provider aliases, or are emailing me from their service provider profiles. That always gets me suspicious in case they try to haggle for a freebie on the basis that they too are sex workers.

It's perfectly legal for a sixteen or seventeen year old to pay for sex, just not for anyone of any age to pay somebody who is under eighteen (it would be the punter breaking the law rather than the underage person selling).

I suspect few people would want to see a sixteen year old punter, but he's over the age of consent and they wouldn't be breaking any laws :).

Noooo. Legal or not, I couldn't do it! It'd feel to me like they were a kid.

I've had ones that looked about 17 possibly 16. I've just seen them without asking for id. I'm not bothered really, if they're old enough to have that kind of money and want to see a hooker then that's up to them

Same, as long as they pass my screening then whatever. I just find that young guys tend not to.

That's what I thought, 16 is legal age for a punter

I thought that we could get into trouble for accepting payment from an under 18. It's reassuring to know that's not the case.

When I was in that age range myself I never bothered with asking what age they were. I didn't get many though until in my twenties when the numbers increased and I started turning them away if they looked too young or were immature.

Wow I thought it was 18????  I must have had that the wrong way round....I still wouldn't see one so young though. But I did think it was illegal. You learn something new every day eh  :)

My main concern regarding seeing someone so very young would be the payment. Even if the client had the ID to confirm that they were 16, where does someone that age get a spare ?150 from? (This is my minimum charge as I'm outcall only).

I would be concerned about getting a call from an angry parent after the booking stating that it was their money not the child's and that they want it back. I don't think someone of sixteen is likely to have earned / saved that amount of money independently of their parents, therefore I'd be extremely reluctant to take money from them.

Oh and not to mention 16 is less than half my age as well  ;D
