Do you work in your home town
« on: 24 April 2015, 10:08:27 am »
Hey ... Do you work in the City you live in or the next closest one to your home town ?... I work in my city its pretty small everyone knows everyone and everyone's starting to find the AW site ... I have already had two clients who I new of ones turned into a regular but we know eatchothers friends ... And last night he was telling me I shouldn't work in my city I should work in the next one or do tours because people will find out eventually and my rep would be ruined   :-\ but it seems a bit of a drag the next city is 45 minutes away and with childcare it's even more difficult

I work in the city I live in, however I wasn't born here and moved here 6 years ago for a relationship. So for me I have no risk bumping into old school mates etc. Personally I don't think I could work in the city I was born in. Too risky.

I work in my home town and all surrounding areas of my home town, my home town is so small it's more like a village but I am lucky because I am already out and proud as an escort due to a disgruntled ex of nearly 4 years who couldn't let it go outing me a couple of years ago. Makes things much easier and I stayed in my town and gave all the haters the proverbial middle finger.

My last booking was literally around the corner from my house and I took it because I couldn't give a fuck what people in my town think of me or my profession. Turned out it was a 4 hour job so it's pretty obvious whose winning the war between me and my town.

I work in my home town and i must admit, lately i'm getting more and more worried that it's only a matter of time before I get caught out. I do live in quite a big city though so hopefully that counts for something.
I've been escorting on and off for just over 2 years now and so far I've been fine. Hopefully that continues.
2 of my closest family know i do this and are fully supportive of it so I suppose worst case scenario if i was caught out, least I'd still have those 2.

Teddy Bear, i'm so jealous. I'd love to be out and proud. I hate having to lie and be so secretive about something that's turned my life around for the better. When i worked in a normal job i used to have depression and other issues, i was so miserable and always had no money. Since doing this i'm a different person for the better. No longer depressed in the slightest and can afford to enjoy life not to mention being a lady of leisure half the time ;) How can anyone knock that? X

It sounds to me as though he is more worried about his reputation if you are exposed. Or that he'll have to stop seeing you, or both.

He has a point, but you have to use your own judgement. I don't allow myself to be swayed by clients opinions. Been there, done that.

I've had several clients that know the same people I do. It's not a problem unless they revel in the intrigue. I avoid those as much as possible.

I worked in the town I live in for approx eight years and my incall flat was only five minutes from my home but one million years different. The population for my town is a mere fifty thousand.

I only ever met two guys I knew and that was ok.

Some guys go a little further from home and if the prossie does that too then you are just as likely to bump into someone you know.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

I live in a fairly small town and would not work here for fear of being found out. I don't want my day job colleague knowing I escort and definitely don't think my husbands friends would understand. Luckily I live close to a motorway junction that is less half an hour away either direction from two much bigger places where I can be anonymous.

Yes I work from the city I also live in but its a bloody big city and quite frankly I don't have close family or friends away from work that would be a concern.

I live in East London and drive an hour to my incall place to ensure discretion, mainly because I don't want to compromise my daughters reputation, if I didn't have a child I would work closer to home x

I work about 200 miles from where I live it works for me because when I am at work I am at work and working and when I am home I am chilling out with no risk of just popping over to the flat to work so makes me quite structured.  Obviously I dont go home every night or every weekend.

It's also nice to have places in 2different parts if the country.  I could never work from where I live it's a typical tiny village where everyone knows everyone and what everyone is doing besides that it's also very remote.
Finally doing it my way......
