Working from a small town/village?
« on: 20 July 2015, 09:04:07 pm »
Hi girlies,

Just wanted some advice really as I have been looking at renting a working flat soon. My top pick would be in a large city which is only a 30 minute drive for me and more convenient for punters I'm guessing so would be busy (or at least that's the hope!) However the traffic getting in and out of the city on the commute and the fact the prices are so much more expensive for renting left me wondering could I work in a smaller town/village just outside of the city for a fraction of the price?

The drive would be shorter, it would be cheaper but I'm worried being slightly more out of the way would deter punters to travel to me. And not to mention the added risk of the nosey neighbours!

Just wondering if anyone on here works from a small town/village and if so how do you find it? Do you still get enough clients willing to travel? Have you ever had any issues with neighbours at all?

Any pros and cons that you find either working from a city or a smaller town? I'm trying to decide and at the moment they are equal pegging!

Thanks girls :)

xoxo

I live in a village and I definitely wouldn't work in it, people tend to know everyone's business in places like this.

What about something on the outskirts of the city? That way you don't have the awkwardness of trying to drive into a city centre.

I worked in my village for six months through necessity and I wouldn't recommend it. Too many nosey neighbours.

It was also too far outside the main town for clients to travel to so I would definitely avoid.

Baby, you really need to try
We are in different countries.
Here, some small villages can provide you a lot of money.
Here, some clients look for small cities nearby theirs because they don't want to be "caught". Of course I'm talking about out calls
But you know that in the small cities everyone knows everything
Think. It's your life. If you want people to know, it's fine. If you you don't want them to know you are escort, you will have to find another way to do this.

There are men everywhere and plenty willing to travel, but I think good road or good public transport links to nearest cities and towns is essential. Oh and parking. Think these are more important when it comes to thinking about location.

I worked from a small town, 35-40 mins from a city and did rather well. It was horrific when I was outed (no way of hiding from locals) though so you may want to bear that in mind if it's your home too.

30min is not too far for guys to travel to see you at all!  and some blokes don't want to risk being seen in the city they live. You'd really need to try it to see I think. I assume different cities have different distances punters are willing to travel.

I'd say it's more the location than the size in some ways. I'm in a smallish commuter town on the outskirts of London, near the M25, but it's quite anonymous and I'm easy to find.
