Working during period
« on: 03 August 2014, 10:26:58 am »
Just to be clear I don't mean full on sex during period with help of sponge.

I take complete time off during period. But my friend suggested me that I can still do bookings doing massage, bj and hj. So I tried, to my surprise 60% of clients still agreed on it. I thought I should discount so I discounted a lot. But then my friend told me again that you could probably charge your normal fee. Again, surprisingly there are many guys who are willing to do that! I realized I could just normally work during period, getting my standard rate.

Few things bugging me though. I was enjoying absolute off time during period, thinking that there's no option of making money. Now as I know I could still make money it's not as comfortable as before to take time off.

Also bringing up the idea to client requires some guts. I say, I am on my period but I could still see you and do massage and bj if you like. Many guys would still take it and I make good money out of it, but some guys do express  :o   and this makes me really embarrassed.

I don't know what to do.. I kinda feel that even if there are lots of takers, suggesting this idea is just not quite right.. Confused! How do you think?

Don't let their shock and disgust bother you. It's their problem and not yours. There's nothing dirty or shameful about the female reproductive system.

As for the other thing: if you feel weird about taking time off, then I suggest you schedule something in your personal life to make it so that you are genuinely busy and not available to work. Even if it's dumb things like getting your hair done and the MOT, that's a reason why you're not available. Take a train to a nearby city to do some basic shopping errands and consider it both a bit of a break and taking care of necessary business. Ideally, you should feel just fine about lazing around the house and doing nothing. But some people find that difficult.

You might consider putting "AWAY ON HOLIDAY FROM MONDAY" or whatever somewhere in your profile (not your headline) so that clients will know not to even book ahead.

I do understand your feeling. I'm OK if I'm home - I live a distance away from my work flat - but I sometimes find it hard to go out and have lunch or whatever when the phone is ringing. I met a WG friend for dinner last night and even though I was one half-hour booking away from making an all-time record amount of money in a week, I knew I needed to chill and celebrate the week with a posh meal and some friendship. But I still felt a tiny niggle of chagrin at turning down several bookings and ignoring calls.
