Working after getting a nipple piercing?
« on: 26 March 2014, 12:26:09 am »
Hi ladies, I'm supposed to be getting my nipple (just one) pierced on Thursday but am scared of how it might affect work, apparently anytime before the 6 month healing period if someone touches it, it risks getting infected. I was thinking since I was only getting one it wouldn't be a big deal to just say sorry that one is newly pierced but you can play with the other boob, do you think that guys would care much? I'm just worried they'll move onto another girl whose two boobs they can touch freely. Also if anyone here has had a nipple piercing, would it be possible to work the week after or would the bandage still be on/would it look nasty? Thanks x

I had both mine done a few years ago, they took ages to heal due to BF playing with them but healed very quickly when we broke up so definatly keep it clean and off limits till fully healed, mine never looked sore and I love them!

Just don't catch them if you use a Mesh Puff when showering....it hurts like hell!!! xx

I have had my nipple pierced twice. Nipple pierced are amonst the most painful ( I have nearly ever piercing possible, most took them out years ago). Nipple piercings, in my opinion,  are like lip piercings, once you take them out, even after months, they heal right back up. Some people claim after years it never heals up. In the first month DON'T let anyone play with them, they will bleed lol. And don't assume cause it the nipple, that nipple play will be pleasurable, it can be painful if someone starts twisting them, cause they think you're going to orgasm from it ( Memories :-\ ).

Word of advice, if you want to feel no pain at all, arrange your appointment, give it between 1 or 2 hours before you arrive, apply EMLA generously, cover it up somehow (clingfilm plasters) and  give it an hour coinciding with your appointment. And trust me you won't feel a thing, you can buy EMLA from a pharmacy. P.s Nothing beats salt water for cleaning wounds xoxo

Emla is good but if you can get ametop  cream also from pharmacy its fantastic as i use it  for really painful tattoos lol. Sometimes the pharmacy doesn't stock a lot of it so try order it a few days before going .

I had both done a few years ago and the left boob is the one guys tend to play with most as I tend to lay on my right side.  Unfortunately it got really infected and had to be taken out yet the one they didn't touch was fine.  However depending on the size of your nipples healing time can vary.  It took a month for a girl I know who has small nipples yet mine took a full year to heal enough to be touched.  I have also used really beautiful nipple covers for piercings so guys cant play with it.  They are like disc that cover the whole area with a cap on top that you put the piercing through.  They come in stunning filigree designs and are around $6 each on Ebay and look great and the cap on top of your nipple meas guys cant play with it even if they want to so you wont have to say sorry not that one
