I’ve had lip filler before, and I recently dissolved to start building new lips (old stubborn filler was above my lip). I’m well aware that I need at least 5-7 days for lips to recover

However, I am considering getting cheeks, jaw and chin filler. I was wondering how many days before I work you would wait until having this procedure done? I’m just thinking in terms of blow Jobs and kissing, as I don’t want the filler to move around because I’ve gone back to work too soon
Do you think 3 days post filler is okay to work?
Thank you ☺️

Yeah, although chin and jaw can be quite sore and hard to give BJs for prolonged periods of time. I’d say take min 3 days off for those areas x

Not surgery but adjacent.  Has anyone had laser before?  I have the appointment next week and I wonder if my skin might look hideous after? Should I take time off?  (not that it is too busy anyway tbh).

For face or hair removal? I've had fraxel laser for acne scarring before (people do it for anti ageing too) and my skin was horrendously sore and red for the rest of that day, and swollen. I think it was a bit tender for a couple of days after, but actually the laser itself left more scarring (weird skin texture that looks like lots of little dots a year on still) and didn't even remove any acne scars. Anyway, you shouldn't need to take too much time off, you can always cover redness with make up, but I did look a bit chipmunk-y for a couple of days still. I'm fairly certain I had a booking a day or two after as I'm now remembering being self conscious about my face and wanting to explain to the client that I don't always look so inflated  ;D
Laser hair removal doesn't leave any evidence of treatment even immediately after, in my experience.

I found your reactions diminish the more you have laser hair removal - for at least the first couple of sessions expect some redness for a few hours. If they don't put some aloe vera gel on for you, buy some yourself, as it's very soothing.

Don't know if you have already had the procedure done. I had laser treatment years ago for thread veins that were near my nostrils. I couldn't work for weeks. My skin turned a red purple colour and then scabbed over. I don't know why I bothered having it done, they weren't even that bad! 😊

Hi Rae,

Thanks for telling me,  I've actually found out that they won't use the laser for me for anything but hair removal, so I won't be removing the thread vein, I'm starting the hair removal later on in the week.

Hi ladies 5 days post op (breast enlargement and uplift) and have zero pain and feel fab been up walking etc since day 2.

my question is if anyone here has done the same how long did u roughly wait till returning, whilst i feel fine i of couse have scars atm and couple stitches so waiting for some healing but thinking ok for gentle meet in 2 /3 weeks time?

I had a lift & implants last October. I took 8 weeks off work & still clients laying on me was uncomfortable. I did have big implants though & went under the muscle but don’t think I’d have been able to work any sooner. I’m getting liposuction in a couple weeks I don’t think that recovery will be as long but I’m saving enough money for another 8 weeks off just incase. I think it’s a lot of money to pay for things so I wouldn’t wanna go back to work too soon an end up with something going wrong

When I had dermal fillers two years ago I took from the Saturday to the Wednesday off.

This time it was done on a Sunday but I have an enormous purple bruise.  I can use concealer but it would still show.  This time it would need a week.

I am not working until September anyway.

To anybody who is interested the HIFU I had in the past hurt too much and did not last.

Hi guys, anyone had tummy tuck or breast reduction and can say how long it took them to be back at work?

Tummy tuck seems like a such invasive procedure. And the scar is huge!!!
