I am afraid I don't have much experience with agency work as I always worked independently as I preferred it that way. When I was still on the game, I used to get the majority of my clients from
Gaydar. YES it's expensive (?40 pcm - this made me huff and puff a bit when I first started) but I always found it to be cost-effective. That of course will vary from area to area, but if there is a big enough client base in your area, they will probably be on Gaydar.
but there will be a room for Teeside where, if you are discrete, you can cruise for clients.
Be aware that advertising on the Gaydar chatrooms as an escort without a commercial profile, or advertising with one in the local rooms is actually against the Gaydar TOS and will get you blocked or potentially deleted. Trust me, it's happened to me. If they message you and it comes up in conversation it should be fine, but be wary of being too obvious about it until you have paid for the commercial membership.
If you have a premium membership on
Fitlads (which doesn't cost an awful lot) then you can advertise on there as well. If you indicate on your profile that you are an escort, then you will automatically be featured on
their escort site. You can advertise on the forums as well, so long as you are thick skinned enough to take the jibes and the vitriol that it inevitably attracts from the less open-minded of the regular members.
Personally I never had much luck with this one, but I know an escort that got a few clients off
GayRomeo and I don't think it costs anything.
AW has a gay equivalent site
When I was doing it, I had a profile on both
Adultwork and
Gayswap. I don't think I ever got a single booking from Gayswap, but I actually got one or two from Adultwork...
