What do you guys blog about?

My website has a blog feature. And I don't quite know what to do with it. One lady I know blogs about football and alternates it with candid shots of her breasts... this is understandably popular with men, but I'm not a football fan!

(I'm also a bit rubbish at selfies.)

What I am is a fan of books and music and random stuff but how weird would it be to read a WG's opinion on which was the best metal album of 2013? Are they interested in getting to know who we are? I have no idea!

I blog about loads   of different stuff  my dogs   ( i have seven )  my recent holiday to Turkey where there was a woman with a  tag on her leg , a potential serial killer kid , and i was expecting Jeremy Kyle to jump out from behind the sun bed with his microphone  - half the guest seemed to have  ABSO   ;D 

i blogged about all the genuine fake good i was buying in Turkey  ect and put pictures up on the blog as well

With twitter i also have a app called  moves ( so i can track my step and then tweet how many step I've done blah blah and i have a fitness app on my phone that records my walks / runs so i tweet and blog those as well sometime daily sometimes every few days 

I blog about tours where I'm going  i.e. at the moment I'm in liverpool and its raining  every time i come up its bloody raining i don't think they get the sun in liverpool ( lol) 

You can blog about anything and everything

blogs don't have to be an essay just a few paragraphs and add some pictures of things   have a look at mine

Hi I'm like you I didnt really know what to blog..I start last week on adultwork blog and I wrote about my new hair color and new pictures and movies...I had few email regarding my blog so it can bring new clients...you can have a look on aw what others girls blog about and u can get some ideas this way..

Like Paris I blog about what I've been up to.  The other week I blogged about going to Hard Rock Hell, as I'm a big rock/metal fan.  I'm also into the fetish scene, 40's/50's vintage scene and burlesque scene, so I'm usually up to something one weekend or another.  Guys love it when I put up saucy pics of me in my fully fashioned stockings and suspenders in public places, or what I've been up to at a fetish club etc.  I've had quite a few comments from them when they've come to see me. 
If I've had a couple of quiet weeks, then I might write my own review of a movie I've seen or book I've read.  Also I occasionally write about what goes on in the sex industry, such as when Rhona Grant was trying to get a bill passed in Scotland to criminalise clients who see prostitutes.  I think writing about things like that now and again, makes guys aware what really going on in the industry and how it can affect them and us.

Putting up a few saucy pics throughout your blog will certainly keep them interested.

It's not weird at all - my blog covers just about anything except work and I never write anything even remotely salacious, although I do normally stick a paragraph in towards the end with things like availability for the next few days, or where my next location's going to be or whatever. I write about where I've been, what I ate when I got there, what I saw at the cinema and all manner of other stuff as well as occasional bits of activism stuff and any upcoming events which might be of interest. I also stick up collages of pictures I've taken on my phone along the way.

You'll find that the ones who are interested will like it, whereas the ones who aren't just won't read it in the first place - it's free, so it's win-win really :). In fact I'd stick my neck out and say I've probably had more bookings (and certainly gained more regulars) from my blog than my site.

Well I just copy and paste my proper blog into Adultwork and remove the bits which they won't allow, but apart from that it's exactly the same bar only being able to post one picture (and having to pretend the rest of the internet doesn't exist).

Doesn't surprise me at all. Blogs are extremely good at getting across your (working) personality and so are a big boost. As a nice side-effect, search engines love the new content.

The combination means that if anyone ever searches for something like 'escort into heavy metal'...

I've sometimes wondered whether I should run a blog. I have a high percentage of regulars and they seem to like to identify with me and a couple have suggested it. I like the idea because I am more comfortable with clients I know, but is it too dangerous? I have read other escort blogs and some don't mention escorting but others do. What is the right balance?

You should never fear to have your opinion. It may loose you some clients but it may gain you some too.

Whilst I would not advice being overly controversial and writing an essay bashing Israel or something i do believe blogs are also a marketing tool for future business.

A lot of clients like the idea of getting to know more about the person they are going to see. Some aren't comfortable with sharing which is cool.

Ha! Me too. I find blogging incredibly difficult and it isn't something that comes naturally to me. I don't like to talk about subjects that could alienate certain clients or cause offence and I certainly don't like revealing too much about myself or my work, which makes finding new material a task in itself. I just try to keep my posts light and breezy and hope they appeal to someone out there.  :)
