STD without symptoms? / He claims to get burned by me

I got a call from a client who has been with me last week, he claims to have gotten a chlamydia (well, he is not sure) and needed to be prescribed antibiotics. I am heading to a gyno now but I have gotten no symptoms. What could it be or could I be not at fault? I thought everything is fine because I have so many repeat clients, we do FBG, they would not be coming...

There's no telling. Guys often get paranoid and think that they caught something from us.

Just thank him for the heads up and say you're going to get checked. He will probably think that you're somehow solely to blame and not consider that he's indulging in the same activities.  ::)

First of all, he "claims" and he "is not sure"? Did he get tested? Is he SURE he has chlamydia? Or does he just think he has chlamydia?

That's something to start with on his side. On your side, go get tested just for your peace of mind maybe? You'll feel much better when you know for sure.

But people often think they "have" something. Especially when they google stuff. I googled myself once into stomach cancer  :FF

I start to think it has been a prank or something, because I have called 2 repeat clients that I have been with AFTER him and they have no problems. Wouldnt I be burning everybody around
And he doesnt respond to my calls now

Even if the guy has it, you'll never know if he got it from YOU! You don't know if you're the only woman he had sex with!

But isnt STDS an inherent risk of going to a prostitute? Is he a baby? Call me if you got HIV...

I get it. So do not spread rumours. Go get checked. If you don't feel comfortable then don't work until you get your results.

Calm down.

First, get tested. Then, if the results are positive that you have it, you can consider warning clients. At least regulars who may reinfect you.

You can start a panic on a punting forum or something.

it takes two weeks to show up on a test so chances are if he has it he would have had it before you.

Try not to worry. clients like to make us feel like vectors of disease despite the fact that statistically we get tested way more frequently.

One of the reasons that owo can be risky is because people can catch sti's in the throat esp gonorrhea. So im not implying you have anything like that, but, its something to be aware of.

He might just have had a reaction to the condom / latex or a bit of friction similar to me if I use latex or see too many clients, burns like mad but it's not anything , I've been to the clinic 3 times with symptoms and never had anything yet , try not to worry.

Just pop in a clinic and get checked to put you mind at rest .

You get tested that,s the main thing first . These guys get paranoid because they think we are all riddled so hes prob paranoid or trying to be a asshole . In all the years I have done this thank god I havent recieved any messages like that but it would worry me also . I would be so panicked to but I dont think he has any thing and if so it wont be from you in that space of time xx

If he had actually been and got tested then he wouldn't be saying 'he thinks'.There would be no ambiguity.You are doing nobody any favours by then calling them when you don't know either.I assume you get tested regularly anyway but go again and find out if you have something or not before possibly panicking clients over nothing.
