I have a booking tonight with a really nice regular, down to earth guy, a bit shy though.
I have just got my period now, it's quite light, I'm wondering how to message my client asking if he'd still like to meet? This might sound stupid but I have never had to discuss my period with my clients lol and wouldn't want to come off as desperate to still meet or either to put him off. Any tips?

if the client is shy dont mention your period.
often I have told clients I have my period and there are fine to have sex with me.
I have worked during my period, not told any clients and just used natural sponges.
You can use a bebby sponge. or a natural sponge.
Be careful with the type of sponge you insert.
I'm sure a GUM clinic will give you correct info and there should be heaps on here.

I think it is better to give him the choice personally.I know alot of ladies do use sponges but some clients can feel them and find it abit of a turn off.Just say something like 'I just wanted to be upfront and let you know that my monthly has started. It is very light and I am more than happy to still see you but thought I would give you the choice. We can proceed as before,I can use a sponge or we can reorganise for another time, please let me know either way'.

Thanks for all the replies ladies, I decided to tell him that I'm on my period and I threw in a joke, I think I might have scared him off as he asked to reschedule!  ;D
I've used sponges before but depending on the guys size, I find it sometimes still shows plus they can feel it, like somebody mentioned.

Really don?t see what the fuss is about. If you?re on your period just tell him and give the choice. It?s not like men don?t know about these things.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

As above tell him one of my regulars has said,  if mine ever return he'll be happy to still see me.

If he is in to fingering you then I think he should be made aware, otherwise its not really his business.

When this happens to me I always cancel the booking and tell them the truth as to why I can't see them.
I would say 50% find the subject cringe worthy and don't re book - the other 50% totally understand.
The ones that do not understand can just bugger off and they think that we have the plague!
The nice ones that do re book can understand our predicament. It is not as if we have a choice when our hormones dictate our life. Sometimes I don't even get pains or pmt - it just happens when least expected!

If I am very light I just use black condoms. Otherwise I would just tell the client and give him the option of coming or rescheduling.

I do not wear sponges for a past infection because of it but when i have come on if it is really light and just the start i will try and get away with it if i can if heavy i have no choice to tell the client so either i cancel or they usually do because of it. I get terrible bloating when on heavy and i mean terrible so if like that and heavy i usually always accept i cannot work.

Ok I am going to go against the grain here.

Don't tell clients anything to do with periods, they will freak out and cancel/reschedule. And I didn't inform clients when I was working with a sponge either.  I never allow fingering anyway so a client will never find it.

Clients know we have ways around these things.

It's up to us as individuals, not everyone will be comfortable working on their periods.  Some ladies will be totally upfront about these things whilst others like me are not.  I was totally fine until the menapause then there was not a chance I could work whilst bleeding.
