Hi, am new to the website but just wanted to mention that it has been really dead for me, too - over the past 2-3 weeks. It's like all the men have vanished off the planet, or have all lost their mojo at the same time. I understand that recession and Christmas coming up are partly responsible, but this is ridiculous. I am nearly tempted to dish out ?400 for a photo shoot ...money which I don't have.... but wondering if I shall be kicking myself later when I realise it has made no difference.
On the other hand I think that, there's something wrong with me and men just don't like my pics, all of a sudden. Even though I switch them round and update them I still get a pathetic level of interest.
Granted, I am not the most glamorous woman out there, I'm older and I'm not a size 10, so I guess all the skinny 20 somethings are getting all the jobs. I don't know - I try and try and promote myself - sometimes spending up to 4 hours a day if not more - but it makes no difference. Compared to the amount of bookings I was getting up to a couple of months ago, this is pitiful.
Let's hope things get better in the New Year (by which time I'll be broke - luckily I don't have to buy xmas presents for anyone or I'd be really up shit creek).
