I just think its been a funny week this week. I made a couple of hundred of pounds on my last tour which is appaling for me. I had to cut it short as it was dead I came home after 2 days. It's been dead everywhere. Even in civvy life its just dead. Hopefully it pickups from next week. I guess its just one of those things you take with pinch of salt and just crack on.

I visited Swindon a couple of years ago and ran out of there screaming. It was dead and the few clients I saw were Indians haggling with my rates. Horrible place.

I’m finding it very slow at the moment but I think it’s because I’m not touring (for health reasons).

I’ve never been keen on working around the festive period. I remember, about 6 years ago, or so, when the week before Christmas was the busiest week of the year.

Gone are the days.

It's been fine here this week (and in a city of ten million people you would hope so), but the same with the trying for services I don't offer and I had one cancel with twelve minutes to go on Thursday lunchtime, so pretty much the busiest time of day on the busiest day of the week

. A lot on their way to Christmas work lunches/parties.

What's been slightly concerning is the number who've said they're not coming into town next week for work even though it's only the middle of December, so hopefully the regulars will make up the shortfall. Having to basically make a months' money in two weeks is a monumental pain in the arse but the time off is worth it
