For me very quiet in central London, victoria . Paid plenty of advert for that time but still get only the few regulars .
Webcam with aw seems quiet too. Would like to have some opinions of those who work in central London or UK in general

Today is dead. Last December was really good for me. This one has been not great.

I had that yesterday busy but they were all asking for today or tomorrow but luckily some were not telling lies as i already done 7 so far and have 2 more booked in. It's shocking how it goes.

Last two days I met my target. Today I didn’t. If I don’t put ‘available today’ on by 11am I don’t seem to get booking requests. Weird as some people don’t even need to use it to get bookings!

Same .. plenty of txts and emails enquiring ( even though my profile clearly states calls only) but as soon as I say I only accept bookings by phone call they disappear.
Makes you wonder what they have to hide, really don't understand it.

Conversely I only take bookings by text and I get them trying to call; I can see at least a dozen attempts just from today. I don't think they have anything to hide so much as being either at home/work so can't talk, or just good old fashioned stupid ::)

The stupid is strong here today, but then I did book the AT green thing so I wasn't expecting any different. I earned more yesterday without it, but I'd already paid for it to save me having to log in so I was lumbered  :(

Yes we all work differently and usually have our reasons for our preferences.
As you've mentioned before Amy, you seem to get a better class of client, professional business types so not much trouble where as I like to hear their voice as I feel you can get a gut feeling about someone from a conversation, helps me avoid the gangsta speak types or those that sound just plain weird, creepy, totally ancient ( whistling through their dentures as they speak) and the guys who have a limited command of English and are totally indescreet in their attemps to follow my directions once nearby.
As for the can't speak as in work, with someone etc, I don't feel that's legitimate. One guy texted before 8am saying he'd be in the area for work, asked him to call but he never did, I can't  believe there wasn't a few mins in the following 10 hours before I'd packed up for the day that he wasn't alone and able to call and that's just one example.

I don't mind text BUT if a person says they can only text due to being in work, company I expect them to provide information succinctly and with thought. This hardly ever happens and a long conversation ensues back and forth, if they are at work or with friends they will not be paying attention to whatever they are supposed to be doing.

Anyhow this week has been quiet in some respects, plus cancellations but I've worked very hard this year. I am low volume, and combine telephone chat, webcam, video making, erotic emails as well as another business I run filling my time most days 7 days a week. The cancels although I was prepared to accept other bookings gave me time to get back into the phone chat and can which has been great (wasn't sure if it was time to cease that because I've been so busy elsewhere but it isn't). I now have food feedback on a platform I want to do well on. I do actively market myself across social media and website, don't limit myself to AW. Videos sell sell when I'm doing other things but has taken a lot of effort, learning editing skills, paying for software to edit as well as send, time uploading to platforms or sending to clients.

There is a definite pattern this week of TW contacting me, and others generally being flaky. Eg someone returning to the area wanted to go on my cancellation list, I asked for their availability they said any day any time. I gave them the following day, no they aren't available,  I gave them dates next week, umm I'll have to check my schedule. ::) :FF

This is someone who had said I need to be more helpful with new enquiries.

Anyway I have enough to keep my income at a good level this week (more than enough) and can use the time to wrap presents, and have a personal life. Last Christmas i was hectic week before and had to have a manic wrapping presents Christmas eve night, but it is strange because I'm usually 'on the go". Also enjoyed doing Christmas specials for my regulars this week.

Absolutely - I get nothing from a phone conversation that I can't from a text (the weird creepy ones send weird creepy texts!) and it's a bonus to me that I can just bin stupid texts and don't have to speak to the numpties, but that's partly because I'm deaf and struggle on the phone so it's important to me to have a clear written record of exactly what has been agreed. And I've never had a civvy job where I could freely make personal phone calls.

I don't think the punters I see are a better 'class' (and I don't mind the youngsters with their daft gangsta stuff), but I do think a key difference with central London and the City specifically is that people are busy and have places to be, so most just want to get on with it and have better things to do than mess us about. It's a massive generalisation, but after almost sixteen years of working here that's something the majority have in common so the tyrekickers with too much time on their hands are largely absent. I'm fortunate, I know.

As for this week I'm supposedly working today but I've pretty much mentally checked out for Christmas, so while I'll see what happens I suspect I'll be quietly sacking it. Being able to take my number off AW for a week can't come soon enough :D

I notice a 'can do' attitude with London punters, they aren't faffing about getting to the booking but transport is easier.

I only do AW email, Text or WhatsApp and I find it easy to suss them out thus way. The knes that keep pestering me to talk on the phone I know are just wanting to timewaste and take up my time.

Last two weeks I have been so busy that I was exhausted and turned away work because I physically couldn't do lore than 5 a day which is pushing it really but with this year being so unpredictable I just pushed through. Now off for a few weeks and need it tbh. I had a mix if regulars and new guys, I did add dace pics to my PG and changed my hair to strawberry blonde and loads of new pictures.
