Yes, the last half term was in February (halfway through the Spring term) and this one is halfway through the Summer term. I suppose at least it's being combined with a Bank Holiday so some of the crapness is merged together :D

Oh no i thought there was no more school holidays til the 6 weeks near end of July. I thought it was only a bank holiday this Monday. Seems like there is loads of school breaks and bank holidays from The last few months.

All these bank holidays this month have made a mess. I'm trying to balance a civvy job with this work and frankly I'm behind on both.
I crave just 2 undramatic clear weeks to refill my coffers.

Half term holidays are nothing new - we had them when I was a child and I started school in 1977 :D

The Spring bank holiday this Monday has been going for as long as I can remember too, and it's the coronation one that was on the 8th that was an extra/one off day. The 'blame' lies squarely with the government (specifically the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, I think) and it was the Bank of England that started it all off in the first place.

I put my number on Adultwork yesterday morning and since then I've had two days of some of the most shite, pointless and thick as fuck texts in history; God knows what's going on. The sensible ones who actually book and turn up have been fine, but the onslaught of fuckwits is wearing me out enough that I'm finishing after this next one today and having an early night with my out of date Ferrero Rochers ;D

Hi everyone! Yes, I do some money only with my regulars, this day. I have emotions for today, the hotel is very expensive and I do not have any booking.
Hope to be fine.
Also, Bristol ( I have spent many years there) is dead in BHoliday, un

I don't know if it's the warmer weather but I've got back to being very busy. So glad because I can actually plan to work and not dread if it's going to be slow. Hope it's looking up for all and works coming in.

My last 2 weeks have been very busy! A big difference after slow times.
