I had a very busy January and comes February and it's dead dead dead all of a sudden. I'm in Central London.

To be fair Ana, you posted almost exactly this a month ago about December and January, so it must have picked up for the last two or three weeks and it likely will again :).

It's quiet here for enquiries but I'm finding that the ones who get in touch do actually book, so at least I'm not spending my days answering endless stupid texts. There are more longer bookings and outcalls are increasing, which doesn't particularly suit me but at least it makes the numbers up; unfortunately they're making me so tired I can't be bothered (which is why I'm still sitting here in my dressing gown at 1pm today after getting in from a lengthy one at midnight last night  :-\).

I mentioned previously that December was great for me. January different in that I made just under half of previous month. Added together I was quite happy for two months of bookings.
This month has been so so so far (so so so 😀) but this all suits me perfectly as all the years I worked myself dizzy are behind me and my days are calmer now and worry free.

What happened Amy is that I was caught beginning of Jan on that week where trains and tube were on strike so all of a sudden my phone went dead. I wasn't aware of the strikes (I don't read the news because it's bad for my mental health) so I went into panic mode thinking "this is what January is going to look like", so once the strike week was over my phone went back to normal (silly cow me for panicking, yes I know) and ended up having a good January, however... this month is sucking big time, but then February always suck for me.
Mornings were made for sleeping, wild sex and bacon.

Well after moaning about a flat February, I've just had a wonderful day, so what do I know?

Then sign up for the TfL newsletter and they'll tell you about stuff like this! It's really useful (and you might not know, but we've had train strikes on the 1st and 3rd of February too) :).

I eventually got out of my dressing gown and did a couple  ;D

That's a smart idea. I had a promising fun event on the 3rd, had to change trains and got stuck in the middle of friggin nowhere because the train was not working and really didn't wanted to spend $$$ on a taxi so had to return home. (mental note to myself: sign into that bloody TFL newsletter and get my act together)

Half term is next week here as I am further North (midlands).

Hope to work two days next week and am using the other 3 days to see to dentist the doctor routine gas check everything booked. Got a new weekly regular though so he should roll up too.

South Yorkshire is absolutely dire for me right now. Haven’t been this quiet in years. Hopefully it’ll pick up next week. Losing motivation   :(

I thought last Feb was bad but looking back it was way better than this month.
Only 5 bookings all week last week and 3 of those were only 30 mins   :-[
Loads of idiots texting "Hi x"  "You free today"  " u working"  when I've made it clear it's calls only and calling on private numbers .. morons.
March picked up last year though so fingers crossed for same pattern this year.

Just come back from a 3 night tour in Chester,  so one evening after check in then 2 full days, Thursday evening was excellent and paid all my costs  the Friday was quieter than normal but I matched the Thursday evening and the Saturday was really good although it tailed off about 6pm and I decided to switch the light off.

It helps that I have some regular clients in that area now and I do finding getting a few more with lots of reports so there is a bit more weeding out to do but on the whole it was worth going.

Yea I have often noticed the months following Christmas to be not so good and things to pick up in the spring/summer,
