I'm not lowering rates as that's a mugs game but I think the bottom has dropped out of the market for me. The pandemic, a series of economic squeezes, and press negativity is killing it. Since the financial crash and a spillover from London I now have double the competition. People have less money. The tone of the media has become more puritanical. I'm not doing things I don't want to do so adjusting life plans in other directions. That day had to come anyway.
You forgot the all important word SOME. Some people have less money. Some haven't been affected at all by Brexit and the economic squeeze/rising inflation.
As I have said quite a few times in the thread, I think too many are expecting things to return to normal/how things were pre-pandemic. They won't because that normal no longer exists. I do think that for some men, they have got used to not seeing escorts these past few years, and are simply no longer interested. Also, they have possibly got used to having more money in their pocket and spending it on other things. I know only too well that many men are still seeing escorts as normal, many of whom are spending large sums of money to do so.
Apologies if this isn't very encouraging, but it is about being realistic. If you aren't attracting clients, maybe time to reinvent yourself/re-write your ads and look at your offering. And if you do this, again, it will take time to attract new clients, but you could end up with many reliable regulars (and lose all time wasters in the process).
Lastly, are you niche in anyway? If you are, this can work for you but also against you. I realise this might sound patronising, I really don't mean it too, but being niche means things can be deadly quiet at times for no discernible reason.
As ever, I hope and am sure it picks up for those who are struggling.
