I do worry it's going to be hard with the fuel crisis and tax hike this year and the tightening of belts, My rates are slightly lower than most English girls in my area but I'm wondering if it's going to be a up and down year. I've not been escorting long enough to have any wisdom on how things will be from the past. I'm definitely worried, After covid messing with working now cost of living is soaring. I'm working around payday this month so I'm hoping it won't be to slow but it's hard to predict.
Definitely a dead day. :'(  I had 1 phone call all weekend.  He was also a wanker beating his tail as he tried to keep it in line me. :FF  Brexit has also worsened the UK situation.  It will be February next week.  If it doesn't improve until March, I'll go back to Europe to work.  Switzerland, Belgium, Germany .... UK I think it took a deep flight for years or decades.

Just back from Paddington and it was diabolical. Two half hours in two days. London Westminster for me was dead I don’t know what the city of london is like. I’ve driven to Scotland now which is much the same 2 jobs a day hardly worth travelling for. Roll on March when tax bills half term and valentines have all gone.

3 no shows wednesday, none had anything on CE, 6 no shows this week alone but thanks to a few regs making long bookings I've done alright this week. Last week was rubbish though, available 6 days, got 3 days if work. Today lots of timewasters already on my block list. Lots of texters today too. Ignored.

Hi lush :) Yes I'm the same with having to work outside the home due to family. I'm finding that if I put my dates up 2 weeks in advance I atheist get enough pre-bookings to make it worth it. But saying that last time a few cancelled with excuses of waking up with a cold. I don't like hotels and manage to find serviced apartments for £100 a day, Regulars are my main income atm.

I know somebody working in a cheap massage parlour sheffield and there it's busier than usual, if you see the ladies 40-60 years old you don't expect men would pay them for a blowjob, but it seems the price is important for guys these days .
I increased my rates 3 weeks ago and suddenly it was rubbish, i change back my rates and it's ok now

Oh, but they do! I'm well into my late forties and don't feel as if I'm any less desirable than if I was in my twenties. I have been doing this since my twenties on and off and it's only now that I realise my worth. Never assume that older ladies should be cheaper. Obviously we are in a difficult situation with the economy and it's good business practice to be dynamic with your prices but nobody should sell themselves short because they're older than 30.

I wanted to say same thing, but honestly i didn't expect a 64 yo to be active, they have same prices like other parlours around where are some younger girls.
So ageing i don't it's such a big problem, i was saying some of these parlours are busier then indies only because they have slightly cheaper rates then the average indie in area.
So nobody need to panic if it's slow now, the clients will never quit maybe they chose cheaper prices now but once the economy it's better you will get back your regulars, i don't have too much experience as escort but this is how i see things going.

I charge approximately the same in my niche as others half my age. I'm not charging less! I know touring escorts half my age with boobs jobs who aim for PSE charge a premium as do those who do BDSM but that's their business. The clients I get are the ones who want what I offer and nobody else in my area does what I do. I'm not saying I'm anything special or raking it in but getting enough calls to keep me happy.

That does sound a very ageist comment Lorraine.

Some of us are in our fifties you know! And I look ten years younger. You should think how you come across.

I do remember years ago massage parlers never did that well for older ladies they all seemed to want younger women so a lot of 40 or 50 year old women would always be put out as age 28 or 29 which was stupid and a lot of clients would know there a lot older but that was before pictures/the internet and adultwork became so popular, since then older women have never been more popular especially if you look good in your photo's. A lot of men really like the MILF thing.

Back on topic please - even if the ridiculous ageism hadn't already been done to death, it is not the the subject of this thread.

It's also worth remembering that some posters' incredulity that people of all ages can and do earn a good living in prostitution says far more about them than the people they're talking about.

It's been fine for me over in the Square Mile, and the last couple of weeks particularly busy - this is taking 2-4 bookings a day, but I've turned plenty away too because I'm not bothered about more than that. The pattern I'm seeing currently is that the office punters are coming back into town two or three days a week and so they're keen to make the most of the time they're here (and obviously the builders, public sector and transport workers still haven't gone anywhere :)).

I'm based here too, so if I was visiting I would expect (and likely get) more.

Dead today, last week was good and I can't complain. Only 2 inquiries today and one of them was a text message with 'hi xyx'.  I was just about to text back 'hello from the other sidee' :))
