Leeds has been absolutely dead today. Think I’m on a streak of bad luck. Going to Liverpool tomorrow. If that goes shit as well I’m giving up on touring north and looking for other places in the south outside of London to tour.

Was discussing business with an acquaintance who is a London indie like me. She said she's finding it so tough at the moment that she's now on several agency's books, at her indie price. This has really surprised me, not only that she would allow an agency to take a cut of her fee, but she would do so at a loss.

Worked in Bristol this week very busy dod 4 jobs a day. I’m avoiding London like the plague I don’t make money there anymore. Next I’m headed to Wales.

A slow start that did pick up late
Remind me not to start at 7am I didnt think timewasters would be awake at that time 😅

Changed my location to a few places today and Nottingham received so many enquiries. So random as I would never even think to tour there but perhaps one will be coming soon if it doesn’t pick up in my usual haunt in London.

I’ve been considering working in other parts of London too. Many of my clients travel in from east London to see me anyway so it may be worthwhile booking a hotel out in Stratford for a few days. A lot coming from the south to. Think I may very well have just fucked every potential client in North and West London at this stage. I haven’t done any of the airports in London either so that’s going on my list too.

I’m seeing a lot of new clients from abroad appearing. An American man who was visiting London came to see me last week and another American today. An Irish guy on holiday too came to see me today which is a positive I guess. Haven’t seen anyone who wasn’t from the immediate population since like November time when I toured London first me thinks. Hopefully as travel restrictions ease it’ll be a small uptick in business for a lot of us hopefully x
