Same here, Gone available for phone chat last 3 days and nothing, No PG or movie sales either. Sex must be very far from anyone's mind right now. Reality is beginning to sink in
Now. I wonder if a crisis in the past has ever impacted the sex industry like this, Besides the initial aids outbreak.

Would help us all if government and media gave a more clear picture of how we will have to live for the next few months.
I never thought we would experience something as bad as this that impacts so badly on our jobs .

They have, you can claim ESA or universal credits to tie you over for the next 3 months but only do this is you really need to and ask for an upfront loan if you’re desperate and can’t wait 2/3 weeks as that’s how long it’ll takes to process, also look into your bills to see what you can/can’t get away with not paying - rent/mortgage would be main bill to not pay until June if you are struggling, mortgage - apply for a holiday and renters, you can’t be kicked out for 3 months but inform your landlord you can’t pay until June.  self employed workers will have the option to claim 3 months profit (this will be an estimate looking at the last 3 years) - this payment will be available in June, you just have to declare it in your January self assessment. To qualify for this payment you need to have been self employed for at least a year and your self employment is more than 50% of totalled earnt say if you have a normal PAYE job as well.
Until then escorts have the option to do webcam or phone chat however they can also take temporary employment (say working in a supermarket or hospital) as long as the salary doesn’t exceed 50% of what they will be earning in the new tax year.
Any escorts that haven’t paid tax you maybe entitled to universal credits / jobseekers but I’m not 100%, would be worth filling in a benefits calculator. However GET REGISTERED as self employed ASAP, it’s really easy - just do it online because firstly not paying tax is illegal and you will eventually get caught and two if coronavirus is like most other viruses there is a chance even if it does go away, it’ll come back so it’s good to have provisions for the future.
Not going to preach to the ones still escorting even though I want to but if you’re doing outcalls, the police may fine you if you’re out without good reason and those doing incalls you will most likely get caught and reported by neighbours (as everyone is in) or the hotel (as it’ll be quieter so more obvious) I know the police monitor adultwork and vivastreet so if rules are restricted further, like in Germany - the police will start detaining girls who are still working. I could sprout off a million other reasons but I’m not here to judge, just advise - please just just your common sense and do the right thing.

All good advice. Do the police really monitor AW? I know at the mo the new powers are going to the police officers heads with stopping people.

I do hope this crisis begins to slow soon, it's a wasteland  >:(
I just hope men still have jobs after all this. The East Midlands isn't the richest area in any case.

Yes they do - my friend had police yesterday and they have called from viva street, not AW. She never had any problem with police, she’s working independently and on her own.

Oh right. Do you know what the police said? Warning her off or anything?

That is scary for sure but to be expected. I don't judge the girls still working but it's just going to add to increasing the CV circulation. Pubs been told to not expect to open for April and May. It's all so surreal, I don't think we will be back to work for another 3 months. And if police are monitoring AW and VS then its definitely not worth it. I think the police should make VS and AW take responsibility too.

Did viva st call or the actual police?

And from what I have gleaned online, Most guys are being responsible and won't punt until all clear and have a hot list of the ladies that have stopped working but most will spend money on the regulars they know they will get a satisfying experience. I'm going to book up affordable [accommodation] in advance for Autumn I think, I will have to give up my work flat.

Really hard times for us all and I always tell myself that someone is having it much harder.

They said she will have to stop working if restrictions will get harder anyway. They came to check if there is maybe more girls etc. They gave her warning and that’s it.

Yes I agree with you but after this visit I don’t think she will work. She told me that was her first booking after couple of days and that was police  :FF I don’t judge anyone who still working but it’s looks like it’s not worth it to get more trouble. Just wanted to warn of all working girls that police do check the flats.

Vivastreet should put an end to their free extension of profiles then and just save our adverts until things go back to normal.

That's the only reason mine is still up, but it doesn't mean I'm taking any calls or working.

These days there are no Prince Charmings. A girl just has to be her own hero

It was a normal call from viva street pretending as a client. He made a booking over the phone and he came to the flat with another police officer.

OMG I can't believe it that the actual police did that and so glad I tell anyone asking that I am not working until safe to, Which is the truth. I think I'd be physically sick if the police did that to me. I'm telling my landlord I can't keep the flat on, I can't spend two to three months of rent to have it sitting empty. I figure I can use the money to secure outcall apartments when we can work again which I now think will not be until after the summer. When I feel pissed about all the earnings lost I just think about those 0 contract workers laid off for 3 months. We are mostly all in the same boat regardless of it being a sex worker, Self employed or waitress and bar staff. And with the serious spread and deaths I'll be happy just for my loved ones to stay healthy.

To be honest I have had some really clueless booking enquiries recently, men posting as if there really was nothing happening at all and I can't help but think....'is this a sting'?  Is someone trolling me because I can't believe you are so clueless.

I have blocked most of them because I don't trust them or...they don't care about their health.
