It's not the best time astrologically again for those that believe in such things.  It will pass in a few weeks but always affects business.

Thank you for that, I don’t know much about it but I do know that these things effect us. I always feel the full moon and other solar changes. I hope it picknup soon. Especially with Christmas on it’s way 

I'm quite lucky in that I have lots of regulars - some weekly, some bi weekly, some monthly, so that always keeps me ticking over. Yes, definitely less enquiries but tbh, some weeks I like not having a ridiculous amount of admin to do. I still make the same money but without all the leg work.

Came on a two day tour and yesterday was good because of pre bookings with mostly return bookings but my phone didn’t ring and it isn’t ringing today;I have a booking later but it’s  frustrating because I’d like to go for a shop/museum but have the ‘what if the phone rings??’ worries but will feel pissed if I sit in all day for nowt. That old dilemma

Completely dead all week, hardly any calls and the ones who have booked cancelled. Reduced my rates for a week but so far that’s made zero difference except attract hagglers. Hope it picks up this weekend

Yeah I’ve stopped bothering with rates reduction on slow weeks, because it usually picks up after a bit anyway and if someone doesn’t fancy me the small amount of reduction that I am going to be able to justify won’t sway them. As you say it just seems to encourage those who might be sniffing around actively looking for what they think might be ‘desperation’ and get their kicks out of it.

I just don't have the energy at all these last few weeks. Today I decided to stay on later than usual as I had a reg ask for a later appointment, so I advertised the extra hours inbetween when I would normally finish and the regular, which would have been enough to fit 2 hour bookings. I took one extra hh, have been ignoring my phone all day and really just want to sleep.

I wish I had the energy to keep going because I know I need to make some extra cash in these weeks before the lull hits in Dec / Jan but I just can't bring myself to do it. Am completely shattered.

I’m on tour right now. I’ve done well enough so far, two of my bookings were made well in advance which helped but the phone was DEAD yesterday.

The ones that have called bar one particularly nice sounding one have been serious weirdos that wouldn’t get off my case all night!!

Dead dead slow at the moment and really worrying about affording xmas. Only business is regulars and not enough of that. I keep checking my AW profile in case it's disappeared lol. Uuurgh.

Slow in the East Midlands for me this week but I’m just about ticking along and hitting my base line target. Long gone are the days I could earn a small fortune and have loads of savings in the bank.
I think next year I’m going to look for a part time civvie job to make sure my rent and bills are covered each month. I’ll then escort on the other days for some extra cash
