After reading of the January quietest month comment(s) I took a look at back Januaries and found I was no more busy or quiet than other months. 

What I agree with most wholeheartedly though is that there is no real reason as far as I can see why certain days or weeks are quiet. School holidays/Brexit/rise or fall in interest rates/the weather, and many more, make no difference to me and I can have a day of no phone calls (which would scare the life out of me years ago) then a busy day.

Inconsiderate clients should organise themselves and give me one or two bookings every day before mid day and that would be perfect.  ;D

i think that there are more quite months than busy....anyway we can make a living..
but i think that the busy time are just before Christmas...and begin spring/summer!

When I started you didn't have forums so there was no one to ask if they have been dead slow or crazy busy .
You just put your adds up in the newspapers and worked  busy or slow it didn't really matter as you had no one to compare with unless you were working in a massage parlour .

But no  you have  several times a week people posting saying they are quiet or no bookings  but without knowing where they are located , what they charge , what services they offer and there availability it really means nothing at all . 
Someone on posting they are dead but only offering out calls or only working one day a week or limited hours will most likely be a lot quieter than someone workimg 11am 10 pm 5 -7 days a week

I agree the posts on here aren't going to help the next girl as everyone is different. But I do like the opportunity to check in and say how productive (or not!!!!!0 my day's been and check up on other WGs to see if they're feeling okay.

Yeah and it make me feel lucky when i am doing ok and people post that they are quiet, and then not so alone when i am having a quiet spell! I find it a comforting thread

In 7 years I've never had such a slow December.

I am really flexible with my working hours and pricing wise I'm about average for my area. But I will say in the last 5 years prices have been going down my prices used to be higher. I've added some services, some as extras.  In the last couple of months I've also added some specialist services separate from my normal GFE etc which have a different price structure.

I'm advertising everywhere I can for my area so just hope it picks up soon

I survived, thanks! He had Parkinsons so was much slower than usual. Frightened to death of him falling though!

as always i received a lot of requests when i was not AT.
anyway today seems quiet...i do not care..starting monday morning with a nice booking!
will be busy next week! i feel it so much!

I use to get lots of bookings for 160 per hour and 110 half hour, use to be quite busy. Last six weeks due to myself being ill and being unavailable I?ve not been as busy, maybe only working two days a week and only a couple of bookings. I want to get back productive and working everyday..

I was thinking should I lower my prices to 140 per hour for this area? As I am gfe and I don?t do cim/anal or anything.
I?ve recently done that today to see how it goes,
I was wondering if any of you would take a look at my profile and give some advice?
