I've had an exceptionally busy week for me with 7 bookings and apart from one they've all been long bookings too. I'm exhausted!  ;D

Phone has been spookily quiet today and most the week in general actually. I usually only have a zero appts day once every so often but looks like this is the second one this week! I've taken new pic's and also added some to private gallery, got number and AT showing as normal and took out a free 2 month advert on an advertising site, but this week is dire!

Got 5 days off coming up (it's my birthday on Monday!) and I'm quite a bit under my target earnings for this week. Going to try to worry about it and can only hope it's better when I come back to it fresh next week.

Good luck everyone x

Good luck to you too and hope you have a lovely birthday week off x

lol. Yeah can completely understand that hun but fair play to you choosing to have christmas off. I know its hard but I really hope you fully enjoy it! life is too short for stress and sadness. Every one of us deserves fun and memories made with family and close ones. Completely understand you feel under more pressure though as I would feel the same. Positive thoughts for you and hugs xx

I am guessing this would be ideal to ask this question on this thread?

Ever since ive been doing this seriously and full time in the last few months, nearly every Sunday has been near dead or tend to get very last min bookings later on in the day. Doesnt bother me, in fact makes me think Sunday can be my 'official' day off.

Where I turn off my phone and actually have a day to myself or do with how I wish. Think its important to have at least one day off a week. Just wanted to ask you fellow WGs is Sunday a very common day for no or little business? or just get very late on day bookings? I am assuming this day will always be quiet for most as suppose its the day after saturday where most have gone out the night before, drank way too much or spent too much. Hence why no calls until very later.

Just curious :)

I find Sundays vary between dead and popular. I haven't done any analysis, but my gut feeling is Sundays are better in the summer. Sometimes I do get the odd last-minute booking on a Sunday evening, but normally if I haven't heard anything by about 2pm I know it will be a dead day. Saturdays are similar for me.

i really need a break from my phone more then sex....

I almost had 4 or 5 outcalls this sunday  :o  but ended up having only 2. Still good, as it was 1h and 2h bookings. I have never had this busy sunday!

MY Sundays are just that, mine. With the very occasional exception I like this one day all to myself. It does me good.

It seems Sundays and Wednesday's are now my busier  days.
It used to be Mon days and Friday's they are now too quiet .
I got stuff to pay out for ( don't we all !)
Nails to get infilled and petrol to top up so 2 clients would be helpful I'd be greatful .

I find Sundays generally busy, but most bookings will be last minute and a lot will be from guys who are "just popping to B&Q love, back in an hour!"

When I worked from home I never took an official day off, even if I didn't have AT on I would leave my phone on or I'd be camming. Now my son has moved back in with me it's forced me to take proper days off when I come home from tour and I feel it's a lot healthier for me that way.

i can not anymore work everyday...it is not my body need is more my CNS.
then routine can be killer...at least to me!

one day that i know that i do not work...relax my self...so not last minute booking...
i think that this is an awesome job, that i allow me to work less and to earn more.. so i need to enjoy it!
i am not always looking for money, i need something else as well to keep me sane!

anyway all that working everyday...i have a great appreciation!

Today some request, just to come to topic! but yet no booking. i refuse one this morning!

Sunday i think that really depend your area and maybe be lucky...in my experience...i always had a slow day on Sunday..
i tried two weeks ago to be AT and even with that nothing! Sunday...i m coming from a religious background so i am really conditioned and to me is rest day! i am not anymore religious, but i keep that good habits LOL  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for all the advice. Yeah Sunday does seem like a weird day, like yesterday, in the evening it suddenly went crazy busy! weird lol. But maybe best to see how my week has been and that can tell me if I can have the day off or not. Really think its important to have time off especially when very busy. Money is great and you need it to live but also you need to have fun and relax with downtime.

Before I started this full time, used to spend a lot of time with my mum as lost my dad a couple of years ago so I am really all she has but because of work, not been able to see her as much or do our trips away. Feel guilty but she knows its work related (told her I am a personal trainer) but life is too short to be working 24/7 so try and make sure to have downtime and not stress over work stuff.

Changing the subject.....its a new day, new week. Wish everyone well. Stay safe xx
