My incalls usually sell out in advance and I have had loads of them cancel on me. Unless I get a lot of on the day clients my profit margin is going to be at least half what it usually is.

I was dead yesterday in Sussex but when I went out to Tescos I noticed a lot of kids with parents so I think some of the local private schools are still on half term.

What with storm Doris supposedly hitting today I don't know whether to switch on AT or just plan to cam all day. It's not windy or raining here at all.
And me, I am not a mess, I am a wilderness, yes

Due to a predicted storm in Holland I have quit for today. Only timewaster call and regulars who want to schedule for next week.

Tour started off well in Stevenage, but it's been a little slow over the last 2 days so I decided to change location - big mistake!
I'm now sat on a very cold train to my next location, which has been stopped in the middle of no where due to 'serve weather conditions', which has now turned out to be a tree falling on the tracks ahead...even when it does start moving it will be very slow due to the wind - so I'll be going no where fast.
I've had to cancel the advance bookings for today, and I don't dare make anymore until I actually arrive - at which time is anyone guess.
To top it off I'm getting calls for Stevenage now, which makes me think I should of just stayed put!
Oh well - Never mind guess I'll get to finialy finish off reading this book...

Sods law to be getting calls from where you left. It never fails. Hope your day gets better and you arrive soon. x

It's half term here this week too, although it's been fairly steady and definitely better than last year. March is always far worse than February for me though :).

I have two consecutive half terms, one for each county close to me from which clients travel or ask me to travel to.

Of course it's also the last week before payday.
And many customers will have spent more last payday paying off Xmas credit card bills.
Sigh.

I would agree with that.Last February I remember having a quite a few totally dead days, this February although not heaving I've pretty much managed to do a couple a day and my target is between 1 and  3 anyway as I am not high volume and don't financially need to do loads of bookings each day any more.
