Today I have been busy non-stop until mid afternoon. Overall a very very quiet week ,but at the end at least I managed to make some profit.
Definitely, the bad reputation of February in business is well deserved.

If you've got a flexible booking, you could try and get your regs in all on the same day and early the next morning before you would normally be due to check out (and ask for a later check out), then if your phone is quiet and you don't think it's worth staying more than a night or two, you could clear off home and get a refund for the unused nights.

It is the weekend where most time wasters come out to play and the married ones are too busy being faithful until Monday. :)

Too much on as well this weekend, football and rugby. Sure they will start calling later.

February is a rugby month l think and with football it doesnt help, these men love their sport, cant complain much seen a few this morning cause l knew there is too much sport this weekend.

American super bowl tomorrow in the evening as well.

Agree about the sport and the general timing (February) this weekend - my phone hasn't even rung.

Yeah, it often amazes me how their wives keep their hubbies strapped in such a short leash by their constant check on him (via mobile).  They probably know men can't be trusted.   ;D

:) Especially with Children no excuse to wonder off. They must fantasise all weekend about escorts, just think of the torture.

Yeah I think it's more the daddy duty than hubby duty. I have a few punters who just don't care that much about the wife however yes they tend to devote most of the weekend to the children.
So take kids plus sports plus general crappy February and here's the result.

But it does explain why most weeks (even when quiet) Mondays are normally my best day

It takes a lot of hard work and counseling on your part but it can work :).  And trust me you will need counselling if you ever decide to give up on the industry.
