Am in Aberdeen. Did well in November. But it's horrendous this trip. Worst January ever.

I am getting far more half hours vis-a-vis one hour or longer which is unusual for me so I guess people are feeling the pinch this month

I agree with the comments saying this january has gone quiet quickly.
I did 2 tours last week both ended up being 3/4 under target.
Got to liverpool yesterday, did 4 half hours and nothing so far today.
This is my last tour until feb 9th now. Looking forward to some time off, will do outcalls in my own town if the works there but dont expect to get more than 2 in the 4 weeks im off x

It has been dreadfully quiet this week rescued by a overnight and a outcall but my phone has started ringing again now but with regulars booking in for next week. I just give up on this week it is just so unpredictable

Same here with the half hours. I've done 3 halves today and got another at 5. If no one else books by the end of my 5pm then I'm done for the day. Stayed at a hotel the past 2 days and I've done better than i expected so thanking god as i have so much to pay out at the moment, a decent week has been long due. I only do this part time but had a 2 hour outcall on Tuesday as well which gave me a good boost along with today money wise.

Well today was really busy for me, i had to turn away work. Did 4 half hours, a quickie and an hour. Wouldn't normally see that many but due to how quite it's been recently i just pushed myself to do it cause you never know when it's gunna be dead again.

First week of January was fine but this week has been ridiculous. And what really passes me off is that the phone dies when am available but when am not available and there isn't any possibility to see a client the phone goes crazy. The worst time for me so far has been the beginning of summer 2016. The European championship plus all the excitement around the Brexit thing made the work so slow....hopefully it will get better soon. I am very optimistic about this year.
What I hate is that weeks like this are giving me too much stress and desire to retire as after I cover what I spend for accommodation i get the same amount of money as I was in normal job but then when good weeks come they are really good and often worth 2 3 months of normal job

And also it's so unpredictable like if u have some limit like 3 clients a day u never feel safe for the next day so u always have to push urself and see more and more so u save the week. So annoying

For me, this is why I will always keep 30m appointments. Sure, there is higher proportion of time spent getting ready and clearing up versus booking compared with longer bookings, but I'd rather have 60 quid than nout.

This is so true! I normally only like to see 3, 4 max! But today i pushed myself to see the 6 clients that booked because for all i know it could be dead again next week. It sucks!
