Today's getting on my nerves already. Originally had 2 1 hour bookings booked in but 1 cancelled so first hour is at 12.30. Was hoping to squeeze something else in before hand but looks unlikely.

A reg i haven't seen in ages text me this morning asking the earliest i can do which is 11am. That must have sounded alright to him cause he then continued with text tennis asking if i'm where I'm usually based then said he can't do 11, was looking for about 10am before he meets the wife. Why continue to text then if you can't do 11am  :FF

Then last night another idiot i put up with for quite times. Messaged me asking if i can do anything before 11am and dribbled on to me how he wants to spend an hour "licking your wet pussy" (his words). Surprise surprise, nothing booked after a ton of txt tennis again despite me telling him i can do 10am. He's done this quite a few times in the past and to my friend also. It's as if he loves the thrill of the chase but 9 times out of 10 doesn't intend on booking. My patience is running short lately and if he txts me today messing about which I guarantee he will, i'm gunna end up snapping!

Then just to round it off, got a call 10mins ago asking for tomorrow despite my profile say 'Off' tomorrow  :FF Give me strength!

I hate these texters so don't get involved. I will send one reply to a text answering their question and say for anything else they need to call me as I won't be replying to anymore texts. The number who don't call is frightening! That's one way of dispelling the timewasters but still some get through who you do talk to and all seems ok until they don't show! I've already had one myself today  >:(

I'm going to do that in future. I don't get paid enough for the pointless bullshit sometimes!
Sorry you've had a no show :(
I've got a 30min at 2pm with a reg as well now so fingers crossed he doesn't cancel.

Hope they both turned up!

It's so draining the bullshit we have to put up with! My "no show"ended up turning up over 30 mins late. As I didn't have anything else I saw him. Gets in and then searches his pockets for his wallet, out comes the "I've left it in my car" they must think we're stupid! Sent him packing and actually had two 30 min appts turn up after which I saw that the waster had sent me a text saying he had now found his wallet (2 hours later!) and was outside waiting to see me! Give me strength!

My one and only client today was a no show. He confirmed, I sent him the details of where to park, he replied with a "I'm looking forward to meeting you" and not long afterwards I realised he'd deleted his AW account, so it wasn't too big a surprise when he failed to turn up.

Looking at my records I was very busy this time last year. I've got a lovely regular tomorrow to look forward to but I think I'm going to have to have a serious think about my current business.

Totally dead yesterday, not one client and today 1.5 hours so far which means I've just broken even. My last 3 working days (I work pt) were also pretty dire. I'm getting worried. I have a lot of hotels booked and now I'm hoping just to pay them off and make a small profit. At least it's motivated me to start thinking about other work more strategically. This is just awful.

Re the man who kept/keeps texting ! They either book or don't book with me, once we have agreed a time etc they get nothing from me other than directions and a call to give out door number when parked.  I have cancelled bookings with men who think they can send numerous "lead up" messages as they are either pains in the butt or time wasters.

Well today turned out to be decent in the end but i seriously had to friggin graft for it!
Where to start. For 1 my phone never stopped! I had 2 half hours and 2 1hour bookings. Every one of them was the energetic, full of stamina types. In between bookings i was trying to have some time to eat but constantly was being interupted. A reg phoned asking for as soon as poss, i asked if he could in half an hour, wasn't good enough so i said ok i can put dinner on hold but then he wasn't interested and didn't book, what is with them  :FF Then straight after that another reg txts asking to see me in 20mins. My dinner was red hot and i didn't want to chuck it down my neck when i was starving so I asked if he could see my in 30mins instead, he just put 'i can't sorry but will see you next time x'. Me desperately needing the work txt him telling him i could see him in 20mins and he agree. What on earth does 10mins difference make?? Had to wolf my food down and didn't enjoy it but this is what happens when you can't afford to turn down work  :FF

Had a 30min later in the day, he cancelled right when the booking was due to start  :FF
Then after one of those mental, non stop days it gets to 5.30 with my last booking which was an hour. I honestly couldn't be bothered. After 3 previous bookings with the kind of guys who mess your hair and makeup up, i looked like shit and felt like shit. My guy walks through the door, we get chatting and he drops it in there that he does those shitty reviews on punting sites. Great, just when I'm not feeling my best. Wasn't feeling the booking at all. He was there pounding away at me in doggy and i could've cried. I'd had enough and felt like having a melt down and giving him his money back but thought no, can never do that and the punters would have a field day reading a review like that. So carried on pretending to have an amazing time. God knows what this review will say  :-\ Bloody hate getting them!

Sorry for rambling. That was my day in a nutshell and i'm now all freshly showered and tucked up in bed and it feels AMAZING!  ;D

It is really slow so won't plan a major trip for now.

I think I don't have the luxery of being lazy and literally have to take everything that comes over the next few weeks

Calls like this make me turn my phone off and call it a night.
Either That or I'm anti with every other call I take which is not good.

I was in Gatwick for two whole days with not a single booking.  Calls Thursday morning before check in time. Checked in then nothing but time wasters.  Lots of texters with dumb questions.  I started to feel exhausted from hours driving in the previous 24 hours and may have missed one traveller who could only do 1 am.

Friday was wanking heavy breathers, no shows, and men on my bareback blacklist.  And one from AW who asked me to tell him about myself. When I replied that everything relevant is on my profile where he found me, I got a petulant, I thought we could be friends.

Oh, and the Nigerian scammer that wrote in all caps and wants me to accompany him on a trip to Nigeria.  My response to him was unprintable and not in English.

Then this morning, day 3 I had 3 one hour bookings back to back between 10 am and 1 pm.  Which covered the cost of hotel and parking.  Then nothing, allowing me to drive into a nearby town, and ransack local charity shops for quirky bargains.  Then one half hour this evening which covered the cost of advertising - I really went to town with advertising, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

So I literally spent 3 days in Gatwick and just literally made back what I put in.  At least I made that because when I went to bed last night, i was resigned to not making anything at all. And also seriously thinking I need to jack this in.

What I find odd about Gatwick is that everyone that came just happens to live locally, with two driving down from Brighton to see me.    No travellers, as I had thought.

I'm going to pack some of my stuff into my car now.  It's embarrasing how much stuff I have (LOL) so I can leave her first thing, grab brekkie at Ikeas, and then feel unbeholden to this job.
