Do you think having number showing makes a HUGE difference? I haven't got mine showing at the moment because I had it showing on viva street and the calls to my personal number were ridiculous, I'm currently waiting on a work sim through the post to put in a work phone. Then I'll put it as showing. I currently only have 2-3 messages on AW a day querying bookings, and only maybe 2 bookings a week. Got 4 feedbacks so far, so understand hesitation to book. I don't offer OWO and I've been told that's swung them not to book me. So frustrating.
It deoends on how you work if you want to do same day bookings then I would show my number but if you are only taking advance bookings then maybe not as important
I do prefer making bookings through AW just cos it enables me to see who exactly is coming & I like to receive feedback. If you girls get a call through do you ask if they have a AW profile? Though I guess having their number available means you can screen them in some ways e.g. I always run a number through fb/google etc.
To me having my number displayed makes a huge difference. I would say the majority that call me don't have an AW account and don't want one for various reasons so you'd be missing out on a lot by not showing it, at least going by my experience. I don't feel the need to ask them if they have an AW account (whether they have or not can come up in conversation sometimes when we meet) and I'm confident enough in my own screening procedures that I ensure that no undesirables are going to book me. Also all feedback shows is that they are probably going to turn up - or they did for the particular wg(s) they've seen anyway! I've not noticed a better clientele from ones that have booked me on the site over the ones that have not!
In my experience with Ldn most clients will call and then ask if they should book via AW, which happens most of the time. You can generally sus out a client in his communication or the way he speaks to you, but Ldn is very much a call on the day place as most guys will have a browse through AW via their phones.
I was wondering whether anyone else had experienced this; I'd say my client (including regulars) visits per week have dropped from around 4+ (I only see one client per day) to 2 per week, if I'm lucky! Anyone else seen a slow down in trade? I'm in Greater Manchester (North).
