I got woken up this morning at 8.30am by a prospective client. Super polite chat, he said he'd book a hotel and call me back.
Four other calls followed through the morning with other clients along similar lines.
NONE called back to confirm. AND I even put on my seductive voice. Don't they know how difficult that is when one is half asleep...? :o

They didn't feel like time wasters but no actual booking resulted from a promising morning. I despair... :FF

It have been DEAD for last 10days. I've had even 2 cancellations this week - one from someone I know, and the other from a new guy with a good feedback. Lots of TW. This is terrible. Some friends who work in same city had a very slow week this week too.

This made me laugh too. We all think we are putting on a sexy voice when really sometimes it's cringeworthy. The best way to find out what we really sound like is to leave a message on an answering machine, then listen to it. Made me want to crawl under a rock.

Thank god its not just me  :o exactly the same here, 10 days no work AT ALL. I've just called my agent and she told me to stay home today because chances of anything today are very slim.  :FF

If it is that bad i.e. no work for ten days I would review my advertising and profile etc.

Just an idea.  Sometimes going with an extra advertiser can make all the difference to bringing in more work.

I just started a private gallery 2weeks ago and since then my phones been mental. Can't cope with it!
Think I'm lucky in that I live in a smallish town so not much competition and what competition there is is not great apparently.

It's been overwhelming today for me too, it was like pulling teeth getting them in the door last week so glad things seem to be getting better, I agree that 10 days with no bookings needs an overhaul of advertising maybe?

The thing I haven't even had my photoshoot for the agency yet (they need to arrange it), so my photos are not yet on the website. My agency (they are old and well established) operate by generating regulars and I already have a few, but for some reason for the past week or so I've not had any calls. Perhaps she just hasn't been promoting me to new clients (the first couple of weeks it was insane!), but I hope it will pick up again once I have my photos up... :-[

If you're not already why don't you do inde work too? I'd hate to rely on a pimp for all my work, apologies if you already are inde also x

Oh yes, I have actually just gone indie haha  ;D Well I've created a lovely AW profile and going to start building my own client base. Currently in the process of being verified. I've actually just posted a question in AW section-I'm still working out how to use that damn website!

Mine's really nice, but yeah I think some independence is necessary. Hate being dependent on other people. I'm just a bit daunted by the prospect of going independent and there is so much competition. Also I'm outcall only, so that's also a tad problematic. :/

Or it could be a newer girl has joined the agency recently and they are now promoting her.
Strange they don't have your photos up yet so I'm not surprised you've been quiet if A. You're no longer the new girl and B. Anyone looking for an escort can't even see details of you on their site.
I'd push to get your photos up or opt to go indie.
