Business is steady so far on my first day. Hopefully things will pick up. Hmm.... Thinking again maybe a steady stable weekly lower income is better than the stress. Living day by day week by week.

It got a little busier as all schools were back since I border 3 counties Easter is v slow but now better.

As for leaving Europe yes it may affect the economy who knows.

So on tour. Put my number up Saturday and new location. Loads of calls over weekend, loads of interest. Got here 2pm yesterday and nothing. Dead. Nada. Well I had one 15 minute booking that paid for my dinner last night but apart from that sweet F A. I know it's sods law, when you are not working, the work is there and vice versa. So pissed off right now. Keep everything crossed that today improves at least enough to cover my costs

Depending on where you are some places are weekends / some can be weekdays
I know if a few places that are brilliant in the week but once Friday evening arrives the weekend is dead than a limp dick

I actually find that putting my add up in advance works against me so I only do the touring location thing and wait till I arrive before I move my add to the area and do the AT once im there

You know that, few TW's. We are tempted to go to town but then you know that phone will start ringing! Same if I give up and go home, be inundated tonight but if I stay nothing. One of the endless frustrations of the job I guess! We are watching disney movies to cheer up!

I don't think their "little heads" are thinking about the economy like that just yet. If they've got a paycheck, they're spending it as usual.

I will say that it's surprisingly quiet here for me (just North of London.) However, my bad attitude means I'm turning people away for calling me "babe" and I believe I'm in "babe" country.

It's this all-of-a-sudden super warm weather. i had a very busy two weeks because It was raining cats and dogs and I guess people were feeling miserable because my phones were ringing of the hook. Two days ago the sun came out, temperatures soared and all of a sudden people are happy and enjoying the outdoors so my phone doesn't ring anymore.

It always happen when the hot weather arrives

Phones been ringing none stop today although I'm outcalls only until the weekend and they all want incalls. Supposed to have an outcall tomorrow from a RB I bid on but all he done was accept and send booking request, tried to tell him I only accept bookings once a phone conversation has took place but he ignored my message so not sure if it's going ahead. Also had a viva street client ring for a long social booking next week so hopefully it happens, if it does itll be the first actual booking I've had from viva
