Weird day today for me. Yesterday phone was manic, has been all week. Saw 3 yesterday but could have done with 1 more. Had umpteen calls from guys yesterday wanting to know if I'm here today, now they've disappeared.

got 1 booked in. Keep getting calls for other towns from confused guys not knowing where they've seen my advert or confusing me with someone else $:-\$

So far today is the worst day I've had in ages. Phone has rang a couple of times but only time wasters and not even had text enquiries. Hotel cost me ?63 and had an hour which was advance booked days ago so thank god I'm still technically ?27 up even if it isn't much. Would've been well pissed off if i didn't at least break even.

The main reason for having this thread (other than that if we didn't we'd have six different ones about the same thing being started every day, which is how it came to exist in the first place) is to demonstrate that it's basically swings and roundabouts and nothing ever changes much. I have exactly the same.

Had two wankers not show today, and it's been Cheltenham festival week and I've only had one booking.

For other weeks it's continually dead, I could cry and I have.

I don't think there is a living to be made in this racket anymore.

Maybe other parts of uk are better but I'm not willing to go shelling out money for hotels and touring only to feel even more depressed. This stuff has taken its toll on my mental health, it's just a drag now.

Influx of foreign girls, men's clubs, swingers clubs and women doing it for free have ruined it for hookers.

I'm hanging up my kegs soon 😂😂😂

Well I had a moment of maddness the other week and went financially suicidal. Went on eBay and bought hundreds of pounds of stuff with no cash in my account, supposed to be clearing my rent arrears! Twat! So anyway, pull my head out of my Ass and think right, let's crack on with work and fix this financial mess. Boom. Wake up with full blown flu! I'm to the point of rationing food and out of date cold and flu meds - lmao!
I'm finally passed the 7 day contagious period so can return to work and the phone is soooooo dead. I could cry! Haha. Fingers crossed things pick up pronto!

There isn't. It's maybe more ideal for students who want to earn a little extra for splashing out on party drinks. There isn't a lot of money in it anymore, hence to me it's not really worth doing.

I think it's sensible for us all to have a plan B as it's definitely not a reliable income anymore. Some months I earn a lot and I can afford to save a fair bit and live the life of luxury. And other months I'm scraping by. I'm in the early stages of setting up my own business doing something completely different so fingers crossed it all works out. I'll still continue to escort occassionaly for a top up of money each month, but doing it full time has completely lost its appeal now.

I have friends who have been doing this 10+ years who are now showing genuine concern about how dead it is and are reducing hours/ looking at going part time. Also it's half term soon

I've been doing this 10 years and have lots of regulars. They all tell me that they are struggling for money like never before the past year or two, and just don't have the disposable income for seeing me much anymore. I think it's going to end up being the case that more and more escorts are going to have to lower their rates substantially to be able to get any work at all. Not something I want to end up having to do so I'm planning my exit strategy pronto. Don't get me wrong, I'm still living comfortably and can afford a decent lifestyle for minimal effort. However it's really not as lucrative as it used to be and the whole point in me choosing this profession was so I could be completely stress free with money

Yeah one friend has dropped her hourly rate for a few days to see if that helps, I started 2 years ago which is when I think it started to get shit where I am so dead/quiet days aren't a shock to me.I'm greatful I'm doing okay but I'm working on getting out and hope to be out sex work by the end of the year. I'm trying to save money and move to a more affordable flat for then but that's proving to be a struggle right now
