Exceptionally slow the past month, particularly the past 2 weeks, even a lot of regulars seem to be hibernating.

Sods law the only times work came in was when I wasn't available ie. I had a 3 day migraine/hair appointment etc

Has really picked up for me this week, last week was dire but seems like the Xmas rush has finally started at last.

Yep been dead for me too. Really annoying when you have hotel costs to cover as well as bills to pay.

I believe it has a lot to do with the UEFA champions league. They are on every evening, it's finals now and Football is like a religion in this country. For the last couple of weeks every time I walk by the pub in the evenings it crowded with guys glued to the large screens.

The Champions League group stages have finished, and are/were played on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for a couple of hours.

The draw for the next round is on Monday and the next leg matches will be played on the 16th/17th and 23rd/24th of February, then after that the 8th/9th and 15th/16th of March

Ah that bloody explains it and shows that (a) I know nothing about football (and could care less) and (b) currently I only have Freeview and presumably its on Sky or something.

The emails and phone calls I have been getting have been almost 100% TWs and cancellations. I have been that bored I've been doing prep for my Tax Return!

I had a couple of calls after 4pm but missed answering them coz guess what... I wasnt at home lol so i dont know if it wouldve been a booking or just a tw, anyway if i dont get work until 4 then i dont bother. I only work until 6pm so my time is limited

In Birmingham I have enough regulars I don't really need to advertise any more. But I do as its Christmas so I can't get enough money...

One of my regulars comes all the way from Minehead to see me for 1-2 hours every 2-3 weeks, a 6-7 hour round trip.

Usually when they either can't get it up or end up fucking forever and ever...
or are so doped up on drugs they keep trying to get you to take some, often no sex involved but still.
