Girls, you just have to stay positive and keep on at the marketing/PR/updating profiles/photos etc.
Whilst in some ways this thread may be helpful to some, I often wonder if it's detrimental at times as those that are not busy can feel demoralized by others talking about how busy they are which personally I deem to be a tad insensitive, but again this is my personal opinion.
You simply cannot compare one to another and a lot of the time in this job, it's pure luck! It's the luck of the draw if that client found you on that site, or if your details popped up first in a search etc etc. It's luck that you come up on a search, it's luck that he chose you over the next girl.......
However, it's not just luck it's also constant advertising and constantly keeping an eye on your own profile, your own website, your own photos and your own business etc.
I've been in my area for years and some clients tell me they've never seen my details on aw!
So, just keep staying positive girls and do what you think works best for you but my honest opinion is that you have to keep on checking your profile, checking your website and working hard at your advertising and focus on that and that alone.
