I'm making myself available for short notice bookings this weekend for the first time since just after xmas. But now with the snow expected payday may not be as good as I hoped - also, weekends are my quietest period generally. But I just can't do short notice on weekdays!

Welp, now that we are almost done with this dreadful month, I can safely say that January pretty much halved my income. Not a fan. Oh well, hopefully February will suck less!

I've been quite busy all week, but today has been dead...I'm actually looking through my diary and apart from New Years day ( a Friday ) I don't think I've ever had a Friday off always at least 1 client or regular , only had ppi claims ring me today, no inquires or tw's, had to check if my phone was working too!

In my area, this time of year is always quieter, so makes it the best time of the year to take time off and relax a bit, I have learnt not to worry about it, I know it's nothing I am doing, it's just the time of year when people are paying Christmas debts off.   I can predict now which weeks in Jan and Feb die a death first 2 are very busy then the second 2 quieten down, then come payday at the end of Feb it all goes back to normal for the rest of the year.

This is my second new year as a pro domme.. Last year was no problem, but I guess I didn't have my tax bill then haha..

Your right, time off, save for it, perhaps switch to mostly online work. Bring it on  ;D

I have been too ill to work these past 2 weeks due to a nasty 'flu now this week I got the you know what.

Guess at least I have timed my ill health to reflect the quiet times - on the plus side!

Next week is half term here I hope I am well enough to work and I can actually EARN a little money!

I had to take last week off because of nasty flu... I was stupid enough to belive it'll pass fast so I checked in to hotel and then every evening feeling better and thinking I'll be ok next day and next day being actually ever worse, so I was in hotel completely for nothing!
Hopefully this week will be better!

Do you think we should get the 'flu jab if so how do we mention it at our local surgery lol.

I don't really believe in 'flu jabs etc but this winter has got me wondering.

Boots do flu jabs for like ?17. That said, it only prevents a few types of flu, likely not the kind any of you are suffering with.

I've been ill including colds and sickness 3 times in the past month so I know how you're all feeling. Literally lost so much money, my savings have really taken a bashing but thank god for them. By my 3rd cold I was beyond frustrated cause I needed to be earning so thought 'screw it!' and dosed up on sudafed telling myself I'd power through and can do it. WRONG!!! Never again, in future when I'm ill I've just got to accept it as this isn't like a normal job like sitting at a desk and powering through. I paid ?50 for my accommodation and as soon as I got there I was feeling worse and worse and regretting it but being that skint I wouldn't allow myself to be ?50 dowm, I just couldn't afford it so as soon as I got a booking I accepted. It was for an hour, he was lovely thankfully which made it that little easier on myself but as soon as he went that was it. Showered, packed up and left. All for a ?50 profit. Never again when I'm unwell.

I get the flu vaccine anyway, but have also managed to see off two colds in the past few months (tempting fate to tell you that, I know...) My trick: as soon as you suspect you're coming down with something, dose yourself with Echinacea, zinc and propolis.

Re. work. I paid for 'Available today' yesterday and got zilch. Not doing that again! A few calls in the past week, but confirmed bookings elusive.
