I've done a 30 min booking and have a 2 hour booking this evening, apart from these 2 calls my phone has been dead so far

I had a regular this morning, then a few TW's, booking and then cancelling half an hr later, few enquiries, but that's it

Phone's not rung for at least an hour, at all..

The only bookings I've had this month have ALL cancelled! I'm fairly new, am I doing something wrong? Does displaying my phone number on AW help much??? Getting panicky and depressed at how little money I have!

Displaying your number does help a bit Londonfox if you are prepared to take short notice bookings. Works for me on days l don't get advance bookings.

It's not just you, I think it's the weather and time of year where everyone is horny then changes their minds and cancels. I'm having busy days and slow days atm. My over night just cancelled on me because apparently its not okay to ask for his land line and I am not a happy bunny at all, two half hours is all I've had everyone else canceled today.

When your new people will take the mickey a bit and make bookings/try to get you to talk to them. Don't worry about em but without my phone number I wouldn't get a 20th of my weekly bookings the previous week I had 22/23 bookings via calls and text off aw, (they do tend to be fairly short notice via phone tho) and one phone booking from someone's father who's son had seen me. (Why oh why would you talk to your dad about escorts?! Just ewwww! I even have a little chart on the inside of my cupboard showing where I get bookings from.)
It takes time to get regulars who will keep you going in slow periods don't get disheartened! It's payday for the guys soon and some milder weather on the way so it should pick up for you!

Bloody murder

TIMEWASTERS, TIMEWASTERS, TIMEWASTERS!!!!!
My day was looking ok this morning, had a half hr booking, an hr, and a 90min booking, and a request for tonight.
Then it started snowing, my hour one cancelled, my half hr turned into 15mins, and the 90min one's cancelled as well.
Of course it's stopped snowing, but my phone's not rang for hours.
I'm pissed off, with people thinking we don't have schedules to keep to like everybody else, that we can just do what
we want when we want (I cancelled an appt. this morning coz I was supposed to have an hour booking at 1pm an I need
the money, who then cancelled, but only after I got in touch with HIM to ask if he was still coming).
NOT HAPPY.

Just had a read through here, and its pretty slow in midlands too.

Been super excited for this weekend, finally payday after the awful drag of january and boom i have the awful fluey/cold bug going round. Started with it monday, today was the worst but feeling a little more spritely this evening. Really hoping it clears off tomorrow! Sods law isnt it!

I think work will definitely pick up after this weekend, January is a bugger for everybody money wise.

'Dead January' doesn't seem to be cursing me like it does others for some reason.
