I find that my limit is five. I have exceeded that a handful of times, but I pretty much just shut down mentally after 5. If I could count on three hour bookings every day, I would stop there. But I go to five when I can for those days when I get one or two (or none!)

Yeah I know what you mean. I'd find it hard work but if I could do 5 tomorrow I think I would just so that I can kind of relax for the week I won't be working x

So glad to hear things have picked up for you all before Christmas Day.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

Don't see why not. Today and tomorrow should be busy days before the lull. The universe will provide...

I know it's easy to say, but that won't help :). You'll be exhausted and it'll make it harder to work when you do get bookings as well as dealing with enquiries - I had a mini meltdown yesterday afternoon because I was knackered, fully booked and my phone wouldn't stop.

Nobody here can tell you how much you're going to earn - we don't even know how much we're going to earn! You'll either have the money or you won't and worrying won't change that; if you're on AW, stick the Available Today on and cross your fingers. I'm on my way home now but yesterday in London was completely bananas for me and I doubt it'll change over the next 24 hours or so :).

I was just thinking "If only there were a way to take ALL of the customers who were calling" and it just dawned on me to offer a discount in January to anyone I have to turn away today. "I'm sorry - it's just crazy busy because you guys all want to give yourselves a Christmas treat this week. But it will be much quieter in January and if you call me then I will be happy to see you at a reduced rate."

Have a look at your tenancy agreement and generally you should have two weeks after the due date to pay the money.  Just explain to your landlord and give him a date in the next two weeks when you are able to pay him.

How's everyone's day today? It's my last working day until the new year and was hoping to get a couple of good bookings - seems pretty dead :-(

A bit quieter than yesterday, but not bad. Same number of bookings - just not turning them away in droves like yesterday.

Dead here. 1 regular cancelled, and I'm suspecting the other booking I have may be a plausible sounding time waster. He confirmed along the lines of: look forward to seeing you later, but hasn't asked for an address. No reply to my email asking how he was proposing to find me without directions.   ;D
