Quietest it has been in like a year.
Decided to write this week off catch up on other things and return Monday.
Fingers crossed for next week as this week has been proper quiet  :(

Phone hardly ringing today. Some jerk from AW has been texting since 8 am this morning, in spite of my "No SMS please" request. I've indulged him way too much (nothing better to do), and every time I agreed to a scenario he then came back and wanted to discuss a different one. Classic narcissist self absorption. Good AW reviews, or I would have pulled the plug sooner. Have now given him the sack, and am dusting book shelves instead. My local M&S, bank and bureau de change all dead. Post office empty in spite of impending Christmas. Damn cold outside, and people looking miserable. Have an old regular booked in this evening for an hour, other than that zilch.

Been a pretty busy week for me except for today where I had 3 guys all book short notice and then cancel 5 mins before they were due.Methinks someone is playing silly buggers.

The lift in my building was out of order for the afternoon and so I went to do some Christmas shopping and get my hair done. Naturally the phone rang off the hook all day!  ::)

However, I've got a 2-hour booking at 6 and it will be OK.

blerrr need to rant about how shit this week has been... Just really want to go back home, missing my boyfriend and I took the weekend off from my other job (which I really enjoy) to stay here, I don't normally do weekends but I really need the money, this is the first weekend i've been apart from my boyfriend since we got together...doesn't help that the phone isn't ringing either so can't even take my mind off it and be hopeful. Also got drama's with the other girl living here doesn't help, just need some time to go back home :(
Doesn't even feel like christmas anymore - this definitely isn't the most wonderful time of the year.
Right rant over, gonna pour myself a vodka now.

Very very quiet for me also. I've had a local hotel booked for three incall days this week, and I've had to cancel all three days just before the cancellation deadline as the phone has hardly rang. I definitely saved a few quid on hotel fees as no one really rang or emailed on the afternoons or evenings either. But - on the plus side - my house is now gleaming and all ready for Christmas!

I have an hour outcall scheduled for later, but I'm travelling a bit further than I normally would to do it as it's been so dead. This may be the calm before the storm...or that daft phrase I keep hearing, the weather bomb...and we might all be wishing for five minutes peace next week. Here's hoping!!!

Actually ok today, just when I've run out of steam with that weekend feeling. Will grit my teeth and do a couple more, so I can have a splurge on the Farmer's Market tomorrow, have my hair and nails done, and sort the last of my Christmas presents. Incredibly organised this year, and in spite of up and down business managing to give nice gifts to god son, friends and family. Tempted to order one of those drone thingies for the god son in Oz, but am sending money instead, hoping he'll spend it more sensibly.

I've decided to take a couple of appointments this weekend to make up for the dead days during the week. Don't think I ever had such a quiet run-up to Christmas.

Don't think I ever had such a quiet run-up to Christmas.

As the recession gets worse and as guys lose their jobs all the time, business is bound to get worse as the years go on.

Would be nice to think things will pick up and become as they once were but I doubt it.

Would be nice if there was a nice upturn in business from next Spring.  Lets see what happens.

Ive given up on wondering why one minute it's dead, the next day the phone rings off the hook, (always all wanting to
book at the same time  :FF)...
I'll just take it as it comes and try not to worry about it, nothing else for it!

Yup no rhyme or reason for it sometimes.Sometimes I've been really busy in traditionally quiet months or weeks and then dead when everyone else seems to be beating punters off with a stick!

Something I've definitely noticed over the past 2-3 weeks is that regulars are either skint or busy.

The recession finished 2 years ago so it can't be that.

Probably just a glitch.

Finally picked up over here. In fact it's turning out to be more lucrative than either October and November so far. Fingers crossed that some proper traffic starts up for you lot.
