It can take a very long time for a landlord to evict, however it is recommended that whatever job you do that you try to put aside 3 months worth of living expenses as savings. Yes sounds a lot, but anything can happen and it's how people get stuck.

Things are so slow for me at the moment, I'm in a small town & I've had no bookings today whatsoever.

Maybe you should consider to move in a bigger town? Google for serviced flats for example, some of them are accesible and you can pay for few days when you get there, then rent your own flat.

I was in your shoes few times due to a minor surgery I had last year and I couldnt work for 3 weeks, but Im lucky that my landlord is very understanding.

What about London? Is it busy for you right now? I mean do you have more than one booking per day? I just had few but it's not like should be and I do not know what is wrong with me?

I've earned a grand total of...wait for it...70 quid in the last two weeks.
In the whole of April, I'm not even close to a grand in total.
I'm really in the shit right now, I don't know what's gone wrong. I've been on AW all month as well as agency work & I have had 0 bookings from that.
Worried and stressed doesn't even begin to explain...

As a brand new girl at my agency I've made just under a grand this week over 7 bookings to supplement my student loan as I'm saving like a mad woman for the summer and my postgrad next year, I have so many expenditures (uni, driving lessons, pre-booked holiday etc) coming up I'm already panicking about when things will be bound to slow down and whether i'll have enough put by :-\

MSSA, there is no way of knowing when things will slow down for you. The variables are endless.

It all depends where you are, how much time a week you have to work, how long you stay in the agency's "good books", when the next pretty girls starts and takes away your newbieness, the time of the month for the guys with the money, the time of the month for you, how long your period lasts, if you can work through it when you are on your period, your state of mind.  Remember, don't take on too much for too long without breaks of a few days between if your head and your body tells you you need a break.

This is just the tip if the iceberg, there are so many other variables too, but it lets you see that most of it is out with your control and you just have to go with "the flow" and make it while you can and remember to save for a rainy day when you are not working as well as all the other bills too.

In years gone past we could easily make a grand a day and think nothing of it, that doesn't happen so much now though, if at all.

The thing with business is to grab the mad rush when happens then when slows down is ok as need a break by that point. This is my outlook now feeling good if its slow as can think more making the right decisions. Whether to improve business or other. When toured Belfast for the first time pondering for so long as was my first ever. Little did I know that would be my establishment in time to come. It is amazing now that am back to touring again how things change for the better.

The thing with agencies they have all the control over business so it cannot be improved by the girl working for them. Just hope they are doing a good job attracting punters.
Refreshen photos maybe or blog on a regular basis gains interest that can boost business. Also how one interacts with clients verbal communication matters the most as to whether they come or not.

I live in a small town so it's really easy to keep an eye on competition, not trying to sound big headed just realistic .... knowing where i put myself marketing wise, there wasn't much competition in my area which really suprised me & clients would always comment it's slim pickings but i don't get that anymore and now i know why. I checked back now a year on & there is literally 10x competition HUH!?!?! I have been keeping a steady eye on competition and it's just shot up? I wouldn't mention it if it wasn't for the slow period but do you think all the shows lately on sex work on national T.v has anything to do with it? There has been 3x escort documentaries and 1 stripper documentary. Has anyone else noticed this??

I have been really busy the last month apart from the first week of the Easter holidays, just had a long term client text me telling me he is gonna find someone else as I'm always too busy for him to get the time he wants! I text back , ok,

What does he expect me to say to that? X

Carlisle used to be the same.  There has been prossy shows on TV for years.  I think we just notice them more when we are in the middle of the business.  Perhaps the slowness is to do with femmes thinking its " an easy life" and becoming a prossy.  The number has been increasing massively over the past ten years mainly due to these programmes and unemployment.

He wants some positive response from you because he wants to see you. Otherwise he wouldn't bother.

It all depends on whether he is a good client or not. I always give my good clients priority. Or at least ask them if they mind waiting. If you are available for them when they need you then they stay regulars.

I had already spoken to him on the phone and offered him an hour later than he wanted, was ultra polite, I really like the guy so wouldn't be rude, he is in a total strop over it and I have had a child , don't want another one!

The thing is with most clients they want at a convenient time for them not us. Just stating being realistic.
