Are things picking up for you all yet? I had the quietest 2 months since I started 8 years ago. I've never seen it so dead and it was causing me extreme stress. Thankfully this week is proving very busy and some of my regulars are booked in for next week too x

I'll probably jinx myself but I've had a really good fortnight and wouldn't have known it was feb half-term last week if I'd not known about it from elsewhere. I do however think this is because I've had limited availability for some of the previous month, am limiting new clients so have more availability for regulars and same day bookings plus I never have massively high requirements numbers wise. I've also found removing the 2 clients a day policy means I can be more responsive on busy days, to make up for the quieter ones.

I have just found it a very mixed month.I have had a couple of dead days but generally have managed to pull in a couple a day even if it means working abit after my usual time.Also some of my regulars have still popped along.
I think sometimes it works to your advantage being part time.My friend who went away on her hols for a week and then worked 2 days was swamped!

It can help pass time occupying yourself at home with a few things. So the quietness doesn't seem so bad. Then out of the blue while busy pottering around get a call client comes. I find advertising or maybe a tour needs doing. I found January busy touring compared to if stayed in Belfast. Just a few tips that might help you.

I'm feeling really nervous about working these days.
I've just started working incalls, and my first week, I just about made rent. I am
working again this week, and my calls so far are few and far between that I am not looking forward to it.
I am afraid of not getting enough work. I work tirelessly on my ads, paid and free ones. Its really not up to me now, its just that guys aren't coming in. Oh well, I'm nothing if not hopeful. Time to get showered and dressed for work.
